None of my friends could afford to go and/or couldnt get time off to go, so For the 3rd time I'm going to PAX, Im going without any of my normal friends, but thats okay, I see them often enough anyways and theres tons of cool people at PAX to hang out with.

Its probably better that I go without them anyways, because i they came I probably would just spend the whole weekend doing stuff with them instead of actually conversing with new people.

I'm going solo as I couldn't find anyone crazy enough to shell out the money I did. Neither could they get time off work during that period. I'm meeting up with a few people in Seattle though, so I won't be going solo per se.

I was going to come alone, but then joined up with the CCST, and now I'll be working with the Enforcers as soon as I get into Seattle. But technically I'm flying solo in my car.

I'm flying up from Tennessee by myself, but I'll be picked up at the airport and bunking with some weird bearded Mormon* and his brother. I fully expect to be molested in bad (and wonderous) ways but at least I don't have to pay for a hotel by myself.

Well, I just found out this week that I won the PC Gamer grand prize, go to PAX, meet the PA crew and such... and they only spring for one person... I am going solo.

But that's ok, I am too stoked to care.

They are paying hotel and airfare. I don't know about special passes, but I do get to meet Jerry and Mike.

I'm rolling Han Solo. My friends who came with me last year couldn't afford it. I'm confident I'll meet tons of people. Staying at the Crowne.

I assume I'm going by myself, it's my first ever PaX but I only live like 20 minutes away. Right now I'm trying to get friends together real fast but seeing as how well this has worked for me in the past I can pretty much count on being alone : \. That is, unless anyone wants to meet up :P
