Anyone now staying at the Hyatt?

The Grand Hyatt is only $165 to $194 now, so I booked a room. The place is GORGEOUS, and features a ton of great extras, and really comfy looking rooms.

Of course, it would be 10 times cooler if some fellow PAXers were in the place. Anyone going to be there?

    We shall see. I'm not going to cram that place with more than 4 people. I have 3 confirmed, and two different people in a "sort of" position for that 4th slot. I'll PM you if I get a free spot.

    I plan to book here, cause it looks nice, and its soooo much closer than where I was going to stay.8-)

    I think at AX awhile back we had nine in room, which wasn't as bad as it sounds.

    Also, has anyone seen this place? It actually looks built into the side of the convention center. I wonder if you can get any closer... The Sheraton may be a bit closer.

    The sheraton is closer to the wsctc than the hyatt.

    (1 is the hyatt street entrance. Further away from the wsctc door than the sheraton)

    Also there is no "Secret entrance" from the hyatt to the convention center. You guys gotta use the same entrance as everyone else.

    Who cares about that? It's just nice to not have to use the car at all.

    Edit: Well I was right in saying it is closest to the convention center, right on top of it. It's just that, without a secret entrance, the Sheraton is closer to the way into PAX, and not by TOO much. :) This is just splitting hairs.

    Ive walked from both entrances to the wsctc front door. Sheraton is a good 50 paces or so (about 200-300ft) closer to the door :P

    Doesnt matter so much for you people but when im dead tired from working it matters alot :P

    i dunno about the rest of you, but im excited for staying in a hotel that is normally beyond my meager needs. Ugh, Ill be coming through customs with a big wad of cash so i can pay for it :(O_o

    It's pretty exciting. This is probably the nicest hotel I will have stayed at before. Maybe this one casino I stayed at in LA is a LITTLE nicer. Maybe...
