As you may or may not know, registration for team tournies isn't till the Expo itself. The team games are Halo 2, Mario Kart Double Dash, Mario Tennis, and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory.
This thread is for those of you who don't currently have a team. You can post up a "want-ad" if you will, then it's up to you to figure things out via PM or in this thread (either's fine but I recommend PM for a more direct means of communication). Then post who's in your team and your team name if you want, and I'll update the list of people who have a team already.
Halo 2
Mario Kart: Double Dash
Mario Tennis
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory

Wait, what about a Team-Game SSBM?

Tournaments: Halo 2 & Splinter Cell Chaos Theory
Hey, I've never been in a tournament before, but I've been playing games since I was 5. I'll be turning 16 during the tournament, and my present to myself was pre-purchasing plane tickets and hotel reservations for PAX 05. I'm slightly apprehensive due to the nature of the tournament but will probably ease into my groove with no problem.
I suggested posting a thread like this because I realize that a team will be more effective if it has practiced for the game before the tournament. I would like to form a team to play in the two tournaments I listed above, so that we can establish possible strategies and/or get a feel for each others' styles before August comes around.
Requirements? I'm only 16. I'm not gonna be arrogant and assume people are going to bow down to my requests. But it would be convenient if my teammates were entered in at least the two tournaments I'm in. I'm sure it's quite obvious that trying to organize practices with one time is a lot easier than trying to organize practice with two. But, if no one is playing both tourneys, then this doesn't really matter. I'm just throwing it out there.

PS- thanks Zig for cleaning up that other thread.
Don't worry though, you'll be put with a team the day-of.
