Man, I'm pretty pale most of the time, but I'm also 50% Italian. Which means I have an unreasonable amount of body hair, but I'm generally pretty capable of tanning. I burn a bit at first, but once I get some color going I'm good for the rest of the summer.
Only problem I have is, you know, going outdoors.
Actually, went to Zuma beach in Malibu today and got a little sun. I put sunblock only on my arms and face, which, oddly, are both slightly pink, whereas the front of my torso remains as paste-white as ever. Which goes great with my wiry black chest-hair. Mmmmm mmm. That's sexy. My legs got some color, though, and my back really did. It's slightly red now, but it'll turn nice and brown in a day.
I really hate how my front never tans though. Never burns, either. I mean, I was out in the ocean for, like, at least two hours today with no sunscreen on my torso. My back has some decent color, but nothing exceptional, and my front is as white as ever. What the fuck is that?
I look forward to the day when I go to the public pool I'll be one of those guys in their mid 40s who looks like hell and has a nasty farmer's tan. I plan to scare all the children away with my "fuck it, I'll be dead sooner or later" attitude and grotesque appearance.
