Places that hold luggage (lockers n shit)

Well, me and my friends flight out isn't until Monday at 6am. PAX ends at 6pm. The Sheraton is willing to hold our luggage before we can check in at 3pm on Friday, but I don't think they will hold our luggage when we check out until our flight. So my question is, are there any lockers, be it at the train station or bus station that we could stick our luggage in until around midnight? After PAX on Sunday we will probably do dinner, gameworks, and the last showing of Superbad the theater plays, then head off to the airport. But doing going to the last day of PAX and doing all this other stuff will be difficult if not impossible to do with each of us carrying backpacks and a piece of luggage. So any advice on where we can stash it? Worst case scenario is we book another day at the Sheraton or a Days Inn, possibly Best Western, but 65 bucks to just hold our shit and maybe take a shower is not so great a deal or convenience. Any help/tips would be appreciated.

if you explain the situation to the front desk they might be able to hold your luggage, not sure though.

I was planning on that. But since we will be checking out at say, 8am Sunday to get in line, and not going to the airport till about Midnight, I can see why they wouldn't hold it, as we are no longer checked in and not paying them (although I wouldn't mind paying them to hold onto our stuff) So, I do at least plan on asking them, I was just curious if anyone knew any lockers, like at a bus or train station or anywhere really, that we could place our things in.

Well, technically, check-out is at noon, which means you're stuff is good in the room until then. If you can get the hotel to hold your stuff from say noon till about nine or ten pm, then hop on the bus back to the airport a little early, it might work out.

hilton offered to hold our stuff, or let us check out late, call your hotel beforehand and see what they can do for ya.

as a frequent traveler i've always lamented the lack of "luggage motels"

I've been to Vegas many times, and they always hold my bags for me after I check out and until I'm ready to catch my flight. I know this is not Vegas, but I believe all hotels will do this same type of thing. Just ask them.

you could make friends at PAX with someone staying until monday, then immediately put strain on that 2 day old relationship by asking a favor of them and have them hold your luggage. hell if I had a room I'd offer up a corner for your gear, but I am in the hostel...or maybe you're not the trusting type. Although its prob better to have a fellow gamer hold your gear instead of the disgruntled bellhop.

and how come PAX is underlined by the spell checker? poorly played penny arcade forums D:

I bet you can find a forumer staying in your hotel who could hang onto them for you, if push comes to shove. I'm at Paramount, and would do that for you, as long as you were a bit earlier than midnight. I tend to crash like the dead by 11pm.

However, last year, Red Lion was perfectly happy to stow my luggage in a closet while I went shopping to kill time between check-out and catching the boat back to Victoria. Most hotels (the nice ones, anyway) want you to think fondly of them in future, and are happy to do small things like that.

Too bad this isn't Japan - for many reasons. But the one that pertains to this topic, in Japan there are places you can drop your luggage off at that'll take your luggage to the airport for you and check it onto the plane when it arrives.

Well I'm at the Sheraton, and that place seems like a nice hotel. So hopefully they will hold it. It would even by fine if they just held onto until PAX closes on Sunday, but that still leaves about 6 hours untill we plan to head to the airport, still being 6 hours early for our flight, and being around downtown anywhere with a backpack and luggage makes me feel like an easy target.

As so many people posted already, most hotels with hold your luggage for you. Their only limitations is space. Being in downtown Seattle and close to the convention center, these hotels and their staff are going to be pretty familiar with convention-attendees and the entire must-find-place-to-put-luggage-before-hopping-on-a-plane dilemma.
