A few loose ends..

For those of you who are local...are you driving or using alternative modes of transportation? I'm more then likely staing at a friends place a few blocks away from PAX so I'm really close. More then likely I would just take the 194 from Des Moines and use my bike to get around...my only concern is that I would obtain too much swag to carry back with me (I have a small luggage rack on my bike and my backpack). Should I play it safe and drive?

Also I'm buying a DS tomorrow for PAX and I dont have too much cash for games....maybe like two or three at the max...what are the must have games for pax? Is there any places south of Seattle (kent, des moines and so on) that rents ds games?

Also I'm going by myself....love to make some friends during pax! :-D

I highly doubt you will get more swag than what a backpack can hold :P Unless you start buying things in the expo hall.

Mario Kart for sure...Tetris and Puzzle Quest are both great as well and will be played by MANY people at PAX.

Well last year I bought a few wall scrolls...but I doubt I'll buy anything bulky this year..

I'm not bringing Mario Kart because 1) I can't find the stupid Game Card, and 2) I don't want people at PAX to know how much I suck at it. I better just stay with the pwning at Tetris.

hehehe....yeah, I hear you about Mario Kart!! I'm just really looking forward to getting a 20 person tetris match going....since about March I've been looking forward to this!!

oh man...it will be so incredibly epic. Tetris is made out of distilled win and awesome.

I'm bringing Puzzle League, Jump! Superstars, and Puzzle Quest at the very least.

As for transportation, I know I'll be carpooling with friends on Friday. 520 is usually a mess, but 3-people carpool lane = blessed. We're also lucky that the M's are out of town this weekend too. I just hope parking isn't insane. On Saturday/Sunday, I plan on driving down myself.
