BF2 6v6
2nd - Team Fucking Huge (3 time PAX BF2 champions)
Lies, not last PAX
Although they gained their honor back this year.
Plus, there was no BF2 at the first PAX.
So what you're saying is that Team Fucking Huge were the '05 PAX Champions.
And speaking of Fucking Huge, see to your sig.
I guess some people are giving us '06 due to the technical difficulties we suffered due to the piss-poor BYOC computers we had to contend with last year (4v8 FTL) -- but that is incorrect. We certainly didn't win four men down, but I guess it sounds dramatic to say that we are three time champs. That honor deservedly goes to team WIN, they had nothing to do with our PC's crashing last year and they came out #1.
We did have a good time manhandling team WIN this year on equal footing, however. Eventually we succumbed to Team nub in the final (partly comprised of '05 CAL champs [20ID]Sterex and [20ID]Bizz, who also won the $40,000 CGI pro invitational last year). It was the best Battlefield we'd ever experienced at PAX.
And for the record, in '04 we started our run not in BF2, but by cleaning house in 1942/Desert Combat.
