Top Secret Nintendo Conference - The Bow pt 2

Ok so maybe it isn't so top secret. A few days ago a rumor circulated that nintendo was going to have a conference on Wednesday in Japan-land. Seems like that time has come. Whispers are circulating of possible surprise announcements including a new wii color and a DS price drop. I guess we'll see but I wouldn't hold your breath if I were you.

    They are discontinued now and so retailers are free to price them as they wish.

    It took forever for any place here to discount them but eventually I got one from K-Mart for $35.

    It turns out the iDS is not an Apple-branded Nintendo console, but actually the codename for the RFID-based electronic currency/GPS tracking implant that the government will require all citizens to have by the year 2010.

    I don't know why anyone cares about these retailer conferences. It's not some place to announce big news, it's an exercise in Nintendo assuring their stockholders that they have big sellers coming up in the near future.

    They announced Planet Puzzle League and Ouendan 2 at the last one
