Has anyone who won a key at pax actually gotten an invite yet? me and about 7 of my friends all got keys and not a single one of us have actually gotten in despite having a wide range of systems from uber beefy to lawltrashcanzpc.

actually no, thats somebody asking the same question but it does sound bad.

what i want to know is if ANYONE that got pax invites actually got in.

I'm getting the impression that it was just a load of crap that they weren't actually letting people in they just used false keys to generate hype and traffic to their booth.


If people have had these things since before July I'm tempted to say that since I know of people who didn't have them that got in just from being signed up on the page.

I'm not in yet and none of the others that I know have gotten in. Its not actually a beta invite so much as a promotional code to increase your chances of getting an invite.

Yeah they never said when we would get in, just that we would. Whether that will be tomorrow or a few weeks before release, who knows...

its pretty shady compaired to other beta things done at pax. The turbine guys are probably the best about this, they gave me a beta key two out of three times i've hung with em and both times I went home put in the key and started downloading.

I'd understand if anyone got into this with these keys even if it was only a handful of the people. Atleast that'd mean that there was actually something behind what they gave out. I honestly was even unsure i'd get in based on my dxdiag file but theres people with brand new systems, and people with systems almost identical to the ones we were playing on at pax and they havent heard anything.

I signed up for WAR beta like 8 months ago and got in 2 months ago....

but I didn't do it from pax :S

Either way I wouldn't hold your breath, they'll probably let you in for the big stress testing stuff when they get to it
