New kitten name (with a catch)

Ok, in the right forum this time (way to go, me).

So, the wife and I just got a new kitten. He's very cute, but we're stuck for a name. He's a blue abyssinian, and we had a name all picked out -- for a ruddy (more brown and gold) one. And the name we had just doesn't work for this guy.

So here's the catch: the name can't be a pun, and the name shouldn't be video-game related. In fact, both of us are partial to food names and spice names. The not-gonna-work name was "Weetabix," but on the other hand, we're not going to call him "Beef Stew" either.

    We're really stuck cos so far he's just being a slug. He's only exploring when wrapped up in that pink blanket, so it's this pink blob with a cathead only sometimes sticking out. I usually suggest names to friends based on the personality, but "slug" isn't a good name.

    I really like Juniper, I think. It seems to hit on all levels -- a spice, blue berries, egyptian, and a boy name. And just unusual enough that not every other cat has it. Thanks guys!

    These are herbs/plants really, but I think they work as names:
    Woodruff, Hawthorn, Dill, Hops, Mace, Caraway, Sassafras, Wormwood. I also like the name Flexo because of his colour, or Dolomite because futurama made me think of that.
