I think it's weird how the next episode is also dealing with afterlife, but now it's John Edwards-esque "I see dead people."
Prediction: House is going to be weirded out, but skeptical, everyone else will firmly believe, House figures out both her disease and how she makes people think she can see dead people, House stays in his position as omg-awesome atheist and skeptic role model.
I mean, come on, House would make James Randi proud.
That being said, I will cut a bitch if the writers ever have him have a "change of heart" and allow for some element of supernatural in his metaphysical perspective.

This kinda bothers me because I think House is too static. In the third season they had the story arc with the detective and you think House has changed but he's actually just exactly the same.
even if you're an atheist and you don't believe in an afterlife it would probably be kind of jarring to receive what you feel is confirmation for that belief
but he doesn't want to admit he saw anything, even to himself
I hope not, and here's why:
As a reasonable person, House would know that his experience, just like any other single person's, constitutes an insufficient sample from which to draw conclusions.
even if you're an atheist and you don't believe in an afterlife it would probably be kind of jarring to receive what you feel is confirmation for that belief
Well, seeing something upon your 'death' doesn't necessarily give merit to the idea of an afterlife

Only, as House himself stated, lots of things can happen when you die that would provoke that sort of activity in the brain.
Any sort of abnormal activity in places like the object association area or the temporal lobe can trigger what, to some people, seems like a very intense religious experience.
It is my assumption that this is how House would see it.

yeah, but what i'm saying is that whatever did or didn't happen he really seemed to take as confirmation in his belief that there is no afterlife
if his reaction was anything other than that, his motivation for the final scene makes no sense, and this episode loses a ton of emotion in my opinion

The best part of that ep. was by far that adorable dog.
And:
Something tells me the cutthroat bitch makes the top 3, but man, how I hate her. I want old-guy, redhead with mysterious past, and the Indian looking guy and plastic surgeon.
i mean clearly that is the outward part of his character
but if this show has lasted for over 3 seasons with him being a completely 2-dimensional character who never has and never will develop past that i am floored

Like I said, I think they really messed up around the third season and stopped writing him like they should've
The expression on that dog's face at the end made me feel as if it were freaking out and wondering why he was being forced to lie next to a guy (an actor) who was pretending to be dying....

Something about how he was acting was pretty suspicious
that ending was the opposite of ambiguous
he seemed sad to have found out for sure
edit: i mean at the end he is alone with a dead man and reveals that he was, after all, right and there was nothing
why would he lie while completely alone
Well, they did, and you're wrong.
your = belonging to you
their = belonging to them
there = not here
they're = they are
they came out and said that house didn't experience anything when he died, and the other guy did experience something

he probably wouldn't have tried it himself if he hadn't hoped to find something
The one scene confuses me a bit I guess

I've heard some NDE stories that I cannot even imagine actually going through
Not that I've had one myself, but I would think it would be hard to be objective about it

if he only said it because he doesn't want to be wrong then he is ultimately a stubborn cunt who should be lording his revelation over other people
But yeah House is pretty much a stubborn cunt

whoa
whoaaa
Like I said, I think they really messed up around the third season and stopped writing him like they should've
just get some house sperm already
gosh
and cameron looks disgusting
but she does not look good as a blonde
i bet you can gage the progress from earlier seasons
they are tops
i don't have any other shows to catch up on this year
it was like "meanwhile, if house were at a real hospital"
"well, you violated regulations in order to play by your own rules and save a patient's life. you're fired."
