The rules of PAX (For Gabe)

There are no rules posted for PAX. Most expos have some sort of rules concerning toy weapons, dress modesty, behavior etc. I'm asuming that PAX will have rules too. Could you please post them (on your main PAX page would be best) so we know what they are?

Also what is the rule concerning handing out flyers? The only other expo I went to didn't allow it, will this one? I have a webcomic, and I was thinking of making cards and printing out the first few pages. Would this be ok?

    I saw this thread and figured I'd ask my own question. My friend and I who will be attending PAX are bringing copies of our game demo to hand out at PAX. I was just wondering if this would be a problem.

    If you talk to people individuallyand it comes up, sure, you can give them your demo but standing around and handing out demos to passerbys is a no-no.

    rules for pax:
    • shower daily
    • cosplaying is fine but do not expect any respect
    • you are amoungst your own here and without the annonimity of the internet, so be a dick all you want but we now have a face to identify you by
    • there are children present so watch your fucking mouth
    • seriously shower daily
    • if you are going to try to speak to someone you admire for god sakes show some dignity
    • just because they have a shirt that says enforcer on it yet look scrawny doesn't mean you can abuse them
    • i'm not kidding about the shower thing
    • do not steal the giant wall scroll, unless you're going to provide the crowd with an awesome mission impossible type stunt show
    • for god sakes if someone screams tetsuo midnight on saturday show respond with the proper yell of kaneda
    • don't look down on your fellow geek (unless they're really asking for it)
    • let others play too; this isn't the hey look someone brought a console just for me convention

    I did it last year (there's a video somewhere) and only 1 person called back...
