Its 1944, a WWII enlisted man goes into the officers club.
On the wall there is a brassiere mounted on the wall, like a fish.
Underneath it says "Remember Pearl Olson."

Burns' new documentary sure is great.

Depending if it's the left or right one that works, you might be able to partially pull the jack out in such a way that the same signal is sent to both speakers.

I have run into a problem like that and Will's advice here worked.

Although, that's a shitty way to have to go about listening to things. And it's hard to keep the jack in the right position. Good luck, Cat!

A new and sudden issue, or something that's been there from square one?

New - well, its been building up over time. I thought I was just going through headphones really fast, but its happening to brand new pairs now. I think I've dropped it once too often.

Cusses, I can't really afford a new one for a few months. On the upside, the ones on the market right now aren't terribly impressive.

From the first season, you mean? It took them most of that season to find their style; the second and third are a lot better.

My minidisk player works perfectly and I've dropped it, and dropped it then kicked it, and stepped on it, and my cat dropped it a few times, and I've taken it out in the rain pretty frequently, and it's broken the fall of numerous backpacks, and it doesn't play the latest pop-hits ever at all.
