So i've been using Itunes for as long as I can remember, but with this recent update it no longer works with the keyboard shortcut options for skipping tracks and pausing and so on, so I've decided to try somthing new. However never having to go find an MP3 Player before leaves me with little option. So I figured I would just ask, what MP3 players would you reccomend? Thanks in advance. (I run Windows XP by the way)

A lot of people like WinAmp and if you have a portable mp3 player like the ipod it supports those like iTunes. Other people like to customize their music player a little more than WinAmp offers and go for something like Fubar.

I've been using Foobar for about 4 months now (ever since switching back to Windows from an iBook) and absolutely love it. Ultra-customizable, and memory usage that peaks around 5MB. It also plays every filetype I've thrown at it, and can rip CDs and convert between types pretty easily. It does take some getting used to, as it operates quite differently from a lot of other players, especially iTunes, but I'd highly recommend giving it a try.

EDIT: Your use of the phrase MP3 player messed me up, this is an irrelevant post. Just FYI you're looking for a Media Player :)

    Samsung YP-U3.

I'd link it, but just do a google search and you'll find hundreds of links.

it is, according to my opinion, as well as reviews, the best flash player out there.

I use J River Media Center, and I swear by it. You can find it at www.jrmediacenter.com. It's one of the only pieces of software I've ever bought, and it's well worth the money. They have a 30-day free trial you can download from their website.
