Incredibly Dumb Flask Question

My stainless steel flask came with a warning not to leave liquor in it for longer than three days, which I unfortunately did. I've washed it out; is it still safe to use?

I think that warning just means that the liquor will have a funny metallic taste if you leave it in too long. As long as you wash it out and replace it with fresh liquor it should be fine.

    You cannot get ye flask.

Does the warning not say why?

I've consumed Jack Daniels that sat in a flask for about 3 months with no trouble.

Protip: Always spend a bit extra to get the glass-lined flask.

You haven't damaged the flask. A small bit of metal has leached into the alcohol, but not enough to worry about.

If someones looking for a "seasonal holiday gift" for you. Ask for a glass lined one.

There was a thread here about this not too long ago...

However, nobody seemed able to actually locate a place to purchase said glass lined flask.

    Any tips, hints, suggestions?

I did a ton of searching looking for a glass-lined flask and have also come up empty. However, I did find this one, which is see-through plexiglass. I'd still like to find one that has a complete stainless steel exterior, but this is the closest yet.

I just did a little more digging and am still coming up empty.

There was an antique one for just shy of 900 bucks, but I'll pass...thanks.

Ebay had one that I saw but it was 6 inches tall and with JOE engraved on it..I'm thinking "no".

Nalgene looks to have a flask out now too, however...it's not what I'm after.

I thought almost all vacuum flasks were glass lined?
