This thread is going to be short, sweet, and hopefully fun.
I am a mount collector.
I don't deny it. I love them. I love having many options to mount on and ride past your ass.
I am horde, and am currently missing only the blood elf bird (3/4 through revered...soon) and the drake (about 2 hours from exalted).
Am i the only crazy bastard that does this, or do you people collect this mountable animals like stamps like i do?

I'm still trying to figure out how to get ahold of a tiger mount (since there are two options for that now), and considering farming the raven mount.
You have the Baron/ZG/AQ etc mounts too?

o_O two you say? What's the other one apart from ZG, unless your talking about the spectral mount?
Yup, spectral. I collect based on mount type so either option would work. Its just a choice of buying a ton of the cards or finding folks who'd be willing to help me farm ZG and let me have the tiger. Quite frankly, at this point I'd probably get luckier in buying the cards.
I'm meh about the ZG raptor and baron's horse, since those are just recolored raptor and UD horse mounts.
Midnight is a special case though, and so's the raven mount (never seen either one of those drop).
I'd also like to go for the phoenix mount, but that'd depend in getting into a guild that's far enough along to farm for it.
The AQ mount is unlikely, since I'd probably never be able to both complete the gate questline AND find a realm where the gates haven't opened yet.
I farmed for it when patch 2.0 came out. While everyone else was PVP for lvl 60 epic PVP gear I was in winterspring farming rep with 2 other guys for 3 hours a night. Now a year later no one wears the PVP gear anymore while I still get /w of admiration for my mount.

It's a random drop from the last boss for the druid epic flightform quest in heroic sethekk halls.
I've run that boss maybe 6(?) times so far, and haven't seen it yet.
As for my other mounts, I have the dreadsteed, & the white gryphon. I might go back to Kurenai rep grinding, that talbuk is very cute.

I also had a shot at the raven mount once, but I lost the roll. It is pretty awesome.

If you have lots of mounts, post! I've only been to 60 once and I've only ever had a Kodo. Show people like me what other fancy things there are to ride on!

Before the patch that changed the rep requirement for learning to use other factions mounts into req for buying their mount I sent that to my lvl 35 alt. Leveling up in style cost me about 40 gold more then a horse would
Also I have my outfitter mod to equip that outfit every time I enter a city. Now thats Fancy.
