Avatar is still on the air, but as with most of its old animated shows, it's been kicked to the premium networks.
Yep, they're running it on Nicktoons network. Seems like every network's doing that these days- make a spinoff network that's nothing more than reruns of shows that have no chance in hell of running on the flagship station but are too valuable to throw away.
I think Nickelodeon needs an "adult swim" pretty badly.
somewhere they can put all these ips they still own that attract an older audience.
I can't imagine it doing badly.

Front: "I stole this shirt"

Front: Picture of a full, steaming cup of tea
Back: The logo (if you feel up to designing one) for The Jade Dragon
Mock pro wrestling ones for the various Earth Kingdom benders. I imagine you could get an entire line of shirts for The Boulder.
Front: "Toph." Picture of Toph.
Back: "Bending metal." Maybe a halfhearted attempt at scrawling out "bend", hinting at cussin'? I dunno. The joke was better in my head.
Alternatively, one for "Metalbender" brand guitars. The first time the phrase was used, I realized how it sounded like some sort of niche guitar producer.
It's a bit clumsy for a t-shirt, but something like, "Ask me why I'm called The Dragon of the West" would be good.
Front: Appa being all cool, Momo with his arms crossed and leaning against one of his legs looking bored.
Back: "Air Nomads"
Back: A huge White Lotus
Front: In small print, "Ask me about the order of the white lotus"

I could evangelize for this show like half the board does for One Piece. I also wish this show was half as long as One Piece.
61 is not enough. Just not enough. Not that story wasn't well told and given closure, but there is so much more that could be done with the world and the characters.

So uh, wow. I started watching Avatar on netflix a few weeks ago on the recommendation of this very thread. I thought season 1 was pretty decent, but I didn't really get that into it until the season finale, which was good enough to convince me to keep watching into season 2. Anyway, I just finished season 3 and yeah... that was incredible. Definitely one of the best shows I've ever seen, animated or otherwise.

Possible, though his design in that scene always made me think of Kyuzo from Seven Samurai.
