I REALLY WISH THE SOUNDMAN TURNED THE LEAD GUITAR UP! I couldn't tell they were playing Castlevania until like half way through the song and I was like "oh shit!" and watched the craziest dude headbang for a while.

Their Bionic Commando is the best though, and they really should have played it.

Agreed. Don't get me wrong, The Minibosses are great, but they're very straightforward covers. Neskimos has a metal taste to them that I like.

The Neskimos and Minibosses both rocked in their own ways. Here's a picture from their party. People were throwing cards and poker chips at each other in this one. If you look closely you might see a flying card.

Cantina of Fear rocked my world. The next best thing to a metal version of the Ewok celebration theme from the Return of the Jedi.

DANG! I saw the one dude from Neskimos, with the tie who headbanged a lot, all around the MC Chris booth and throughout the whole convention. I thought he was HOT!!! But I never ended up talking to him, cuz I thought he was just another roadie/merch dude. I didn't even realize he was in the Neskimos until I started looking at pics from the show after the convention.

...wow. So you ignored him because although you thought he was hot you didn't consider him worth it because you didn't know he was in an actual band? :?: O_o

I didn't talk to him cuz I was already talking to Bucky at the MC Chris merch table Yeah, it turns out Bucky is from Houston and friends with my brother, so we had lots in common. Dang! I'm not a groopie!! But if I'd know he was in Neskimos I'd have got his autograph... on my chest.

For some reason they accused me of owing them like half a pack of smokes when I was actually bumming TO people all weekend. I guess that's what I get for skipping out on their show to get free drinks at the Turbine party. But yes, they totally rock. Maybe next year don't put them on the same night as free booze.

They invited me to their party when I gave them free bawls one night when I was handing them out to all the staff. I went to the doubletree and couldnt find it
