The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
It is a physically and mentally draining role — his Joker is a “psychopathic, mass-murdering, schizophrenic clown with zero empathy” he said cheerfully
Here too was his Joker diary, which he began compiling four months before filming began. It is filled with images and thoughts helpful to the Joker back story, like a list of things the Joker would find funny. (AIDS is one of them.) Mr. Ledger seemed almost embarrassed that the book had been spotted, as if he had been caught trying to get extra credit in school.
After Batman Begins, I had a pretty unshakable faith that The Joker would turn out awesome in the next movie, even when I first heard that Heath Ledger was going to play him.

I might have to see this.
Hmmm...
I loved the hell out of Batman Begins. This can't come soon enough. Also I kinda like Heath Ledger ever since A Knight's Tale.
But that ended up being false, which broke my heart a little.
Still, though, it looks pretty killer.
It's good to be vindicated.
Transformers 2
Ironman
The Dark Knight
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEIMSOEXCITEDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
That's at least as awesome as Ledger's Joker
Well, he's not Two Face yet in TDK
...
Oh
You should. Because Batman Begins was awesome and the Transformers movie was shit.
i can't even tell that's heath ledger, though
even though i'm sure frank miller will ruin it
Yeah, Ledger has totally disappeared into the role.
It's going to be fucking great.
I dare say that Ledger has a very good chance of topping Nicholson's Joker.
I feel like I'm about to shit my pants
That'd top Nicholson's Joker
+ =
Ledger has even said that he's going for a bit of a Clockwork Orange feel with this Joker.
Oh goodness, I agree completely.
Anyone could top that.
Notice the finger tapping gesture he's making.
look at his thighs
Really. It's like saying someone could top Arnolds Mr. Freeze.
Which look to have been cast out of iron
and World's Finest, yeah
a little after Begins came out, my friend was like "let's watch the first Batman movie" and i said, "no, it's shit", but he rented it anyway
he ended up turning it off like halfway through because those movies are awful
If I ignore it he wont magically appear behind me in the shadows
Notice that he can finally move his neck!
They were great at the time, but they are extremely dated now.
They were more Burton films than they were Batman, anyway. Especially Returns.
