Speaking of Ravenholdt, I love the fact that there are a lot of people on Ravenholdt who have only come around to WoW since BC and are suitably impressed by my set-bonus proc from
Happy: I did Setthek on my 66 lock today and the oblivion pants dropped, which are one of the two pieces of d3 I was hoping for to complement my frozen shadoweave set
Happy: Finally moving on from Void Reaver by killing Solarian for the first time last week, and just to prove the point, got her again this week.
Happy: Being wrong is awesome. On Saturday, we went in to SSC; we'd been there a few times but killed no bosses. We didn't have our full range of tanks, in particular there's our other paladin tank who has a nice mix of nature and frost res gear who was absent. Despite this, one of our officer priests was adamant we could manage with just me (frost res gear) and a druid on the adds. I was... uncertain, to say the least. I died early on due to misjudging just how many nature adds I could take, but after a combat res, we completed our guild first kill of Hydross with a oneshot.
Happy: We then went on to Lurker. He wasn't a oneshot, but he did go down.
Happy: And for good measure, last night we got our guild first Zul'jin kill too. We're by far the worst-progressed guild on the server to complete Zul'aman; the other ones who've done it have got Vashj down, and as we indicated, we'd literally only just got the first two SSC kills the day before.
Happy: Two 25-man guild firsts and a guild first Zul'jin in the space of a weekend. Yeah, I'm quite pleased.
Hate: I don't play my rogue anymore, but this really irked me:
Blue Europe:
"We realise that there are some confusion regarding the Hemo change, and that many of you feel that the damage reduction is too much. The developers felt that Hemo was overpowered. Pretty much every rogue was switching to Hemo because of this, so they made the change to tone it down somewhat. The developers want the subtlety tree to be a good support tree instead. "
WTF? Maybe everyone was speccing hemo because combat is boring and dull. Support for what anyway? Doing less DPS? What a great idea for a support tree for a melee DPS class.
Happy: Playing with the Beasts. After a ridiculously shitty pug Slave Pens run I joined Medo for some EotS PVP and had a blast. Afterwards a bunch of guild mates were up for having a fun run through the blood furnace. Being able to play with my guildies again makes me wish I was 70 to instance with them; pugs aren't always terrible but runs where you can laugh about wave hitting DI instead of god knows what he tried to press are always priceless. Or doomguard hilarity. Or just general cockdickery. the Beasts, and the fact that there are a lot more people around lately.
Hate: That my belt STILL HAS NOT DROPPED. Mindfire Waistband, you *will* be mine.
Hope: It drops the next time I run BF; I don't want to run it anymore!

I am working on getting skitters up to snuff, kor. I really want to try the absurd Boomkin/BM combo in 2v2.
Munkus Beaver on
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
My wife and I are leveling a hunter/druid (intending to be balance) combo right now? Is that a nasty combo in 2v2? Seems like it could be.
What about a hunter/shadow priest.

Hate: Last week my guild leader and I formed up a 2v2 called Chinese Gold Farmers. He forgot to tell me his Mage was still AQ40-geared (6k hp) and Fire spec needless to say we lost aplenty.
Happy: This week he made a bunch of imbued netherweave, bought a few greens of the sorceror, got the Glad helm and respecced Frost. He now has damn near 9k hp. With me as a Feral popping out to Barkskin+Tranquility when he went OLOL ICEBLOCK we won 7 of our 10 matches, even beating a full Merciless SL Lock+Holy Pala combo XD
EDIT to answer your question Bigity, Hunters have been buffed out of the ass. The ASS. Pet spec Hunter in 2v2: lol immune to CC lol just 3 shot a clothie lol purged all buffs lol MORTAL SHOT.
Seems like Boomkin would be fun in Arena, just Shadowmeld in the starting room and unleash hell. if you're Feral and not at all afraid to shift out and heal, you can expect to see great results as well.
I think feral would be tough for her, heck, I always felt like there was too much to do...zomg shift and heal? bear and bash? cat and pounce, caster to cyclone zomg what do I do!?
Mostly it depends on which she likes playing more as we catch these guys up to the other alts.
lol HATE: SLAIDE'S MACRO AND SAERIS FOR GIVING IT HIM olol
Wait... what? You guys don't like that?
Hey at least Saeris gave me the option to turn it off and on now. Doing /console reloadui every time I was threatened with a gkick was getting tiring.
Also sorry about the late response, don't usually check the boards on the weekend.

Feral in Arena is viable as long as you remember the arbitrary restrictions imposed on you when you shift into a form. Happily you can just press the heal button and automatically shift+heal, this makes us a lot better at spot healing.
The main issue I have is Furor not granting rage or energy INSTANTLY (as per the tooltip description) but instead waiting the second or so for latency so I can't instacharge someone at max range running.
Basically just remember a Druid in arena gets Innervate and Tranquility every match. make sure to CC the opposing threats before you do Tranq though, as getting Deathcoiled the instant you blow an 8 min. cd heal is NOT FUN.

I'm intrigued...what does this macro do?
Considering the comparison to Munkus using SEGUI probably a pretty spam heavy macro when Slaide does basic rogue things.
Back when the Beasts first rolled on Ravenholdt in the 10-19 BG, Munkus had SEGUI spam /s with all kinds of BS as he would get in kill shots, or even just regular hits. If you were anywhere near him your screen would quickly fill up with white text.
The best part is Shade of Akama DPS e-peen fights, though, yes. >.>
I sustained over 1800 on it this week.
... because it's still bugged, and you beat up one add and then pound the hell out of him for 30 seconds, until you collect loot.
It's really just a faster version of the original, and I'm not complaining, but it's still a very odd bug.
Heh two weeks ago I got ~3600 DPS on him, bloodlust + drums of battle + good luck (57% effective crit rate). I did 13% of the raid's damage with the next highest at 8%. Totally lucky and unrealistic but so awesome to see. But yeah I really wonder if they'll fix him anytime soon... This past week we got to him and the guys were channeling, so we thought it was fixed, but since doing him for real meant a paladin would have to go respec (low on tanks that night), we decided to wipe once and see if he'd bug out as usual, which he did. GG Blizz.
+hit caps out but I'm just barely teetering near that cap and my spec is limited because I don't have enough +hit to try a Combat build. Even so, I can't upgrade other fucking slots because those slots happen to be where all of my +hit is. Every time I get an upgrade I can't even equip it because I need to find the associated upgrade where all of the +hit I just lost has to go. I have the badges for and would like to get another reward, but then I lose the +hit in that slot and have to track down a non-Badge epic to sidegrade/upgrade another slot and fuck you Blizzard
For serious. I HATE having to balance everything around +hit. It's not like spell damage and crit where more of either one is good to a different degree, it's just this one thing you have to prioritize above all else but only to a specific point... It's so frustrating not to be able to upgrade something because you'd have to have a second piece drop also to make up for the hit. At least there's some leeway in gems, but it fucking sucks having to waste a bunch of gold on resocketing all your stuff for hit or damage every time you swap a piece.
Anyway, hate: Two raids cancelled this weekend. Is it because it's almost the holidays/finals week, or because we're wiping on an end boss again? THE WORLD MAY NEVER KNOW.
Hope: We fucking kill Archimonde before Christmas, and he drops robes.
Happy: Doing the Mark of the Lightbringer quest in WPL and Having not one, but two Crusader enchants drop. One for me, one for the AH.
Very happy: Finally winning the STV fishing contest yesterday. Me and a druid caught our 40th fish from the same pool at about the exact same time and both of us had our hearth set to BB, my comp was just a tad faster than his.

I'm intrigued...what does this macro do?
Every time I PuG or listen to BG Raid Chat, or any global channel for that matter, there are these fucking retards that begin and end every sentence with "lol". I think for some reason it has become an acceptable replacement for a period, and it pisses me off every time I see it.
So as a joke I said in guild chat that I wanted a macro that automatically added "lol" to the beginning and ending of everything I typed. That way retards in PuG's would understand the things I was saying and maybe if I used it enough, see how fucking annoying it is.
Is it an unwritten rule that rogues have odd little macro add-ons? I ran an Old Hillsbrad with a rogue who, I kid you not, had some sort of emote for every goddamn keystroke. The weird thing was that he didn't suck, which usually goes hand in hand with the annoying macro. So confusing.
I fully believe that Saeris may, at some point in time, write an add-on that will enslave us all.
I've always enjoyed his library of stuff. What I'm saying here is that he's a pretty rad dude.
And when his add-on takes over the world I hope he will remember my kind words and not feed me to the sharks.
I don't use any of that segui stuff or anything. This was the first one I ever used, and it was done completely as a joke. So no, not all Rogues use little macro-add-ons
And yes, Saeris knows his shit, it's pretty crazy. Also he is the best walljumper I have ever seen.

Also downed 2 more bosses. Have bear and eagle on farm status, and downed Dragonhawk and Lynx aspects.
Yea, thats what I meant. Though for horde on the blackout battlegroup, they are almost the same thing.

Of course, this applies to all the other melee only enchants as well.
yeah mongoose and executioner are awesome for dual weilding classes, and 2her warriors to a lesser extent
but hunters and paladins can go fuck urselvz lolz
crappy savagery 4 lyfe I guess
