Let's face it, lots of movie/book/video game sequels are ho-hum at best. The original should have been left alone to stand on its own. Like with Airplane! The Sequel, or We Love Katamari.
Some sequels are so appaulingly bad or ridiculous, that we try to have them stricken from the record. They just don't count. Like TMNT 3, Highlander 2, or The Book of Mormon.
But every now and then, we get good sequels. What are some of your favorites?
X-Men 2 was fantastic, especially with Wolverine brutally murdering lots of dudes.
God of War 2 was craptons of fun. Some say it's even better than the original.
Ghostbusters 2 isn't loved by many, but I always enjoyed it.
I also enjoyed Addams Family Values. The whole cast really kept up the spirit and performance level from the first one.
