Why does the Diablo II expansion cost more than the box set that has Diablo, Diablo II and the Diablo II expansion?
It hurts my head that they don't just have a Diablo II+Expansion boxed set so I can not feel like I'm paying for a game I already have (Diablo).
That can be fun to go back and play, sort of... I just got frustrated at how slow everything was because you couldn't run. Other than that, I like to play the original now and then.
[Edit]
Also, if the original Diablo is the only one you own, this is sort of like an Orange Box situation wherein you're still getting a better deal, I think, even if you own Diablo.
2) Diablo II doesn't have enough of my curiosity for me to drop that extra ten bucks on it
3) Hell, I still haven't bothered to pick up Star Craft and am waiting for it to get uber cheap after SCII shows up.
That works, I guess.

Man, is it wrong of me to think that people are being pretty dumb when they say a certain movie sucked just because it was different than the book? I mean, is it wrong of me to expect people to judge movies based on the movies they are, rather than the movies they could have been or should have been or the books they are influenced by?
Unless it's a movie that is saying it's supposed to be the book on screen, take the film as itself (a film) and judge it on those merits.
Shaz: You have to keep in mind that I probably would have never owned HL2 if it weren't for Orange Box, and my most advanced console aside from my DS is a PS1. I'm that kind of cheap/poor.
So our plush weighted companion cubes came in the mail yesterday. My boyfriend hasn't even taken one of them out of the packaging, because he's toying with the idea of eBaying them for cash monies.

I love multiple cash money units.
I took a large number of them from the Casino last night. It was fun.

How much would these cubes fetch?
Apparently there's a newish one on eBay right now at over $100.
I doubt that he'd ever get enough motivation/will to part with it to make an eBay listing, though.

Awesome.
Jewcar: you're welcome. Hopefully that was helpful.
I like Risk. Also, this isn't a board game, but it's a really fun parlor game-type thing, called Bang! It's kinda like Mafia, except it's a turn-based card game. It's fairly simple to learn, and a lot of fun to play. You can find it pretty much at any gaming store.
She's doing better, it looks like, thanks . She had a rough day yesterday when we took her to the vet, but they gave her some fluids to rehydrate her and stuff, and she hasn't thrown up in about 24 hours. She still seems a little tired, but she ate a little bit last night and got some sleep, so she's probably on the mend. The vet said she probably ate some string or something that might have been obstructing her GI tract. I guess it got disloged or something over the past day, since the cat isn't throwing up anymore and has been using the litterbox.
I saw two cats running across the street last night while I was out driving, just breaks my heart every time I see them not being cuddled but instead out in the cold.

Yay me!
It's under $20 for it and the expansion.
I don't think it's going to get much cheaper, ever.

Now I need to get some pants on so I can spend $30 on a DS game.
Or someone who has it could tell how it is...should I get it or should I try Penumbra:Overture?

Oh, hey, does anyone remember that game on the hexagon that had a bunch of marbles that you could move, I think, four of at a time?
Awesome.
Jewcar: you're welcome. Hopefully that was helpful.
You only move one marble at a time in that.
Sorry Jewcar, I can't help you with that game.
Apples to Apples? I loved that game.

She has been looking into Apples to Apples.
Elendil, I will pay you a princely sum* to come to my house and play all sorts of wonderful games in front of me.
[TINY]*I don't think much of royalty.[/TINY]
Oh, and also Munchkins.
Also, they have some crazy versions of Risk these days.
I ended up playing it in high school. It was decidedly less fun.
I have no idea what I'll do when I pick up Magus. I'll be torn.

I must be guy that the announcers in commercials always mention.
I guess. Though I would have thought beating real people at dominating the world would be more fun than beating imaginary people.

And thanks all for the game info.
I'm headin' out for a bit, later kidties.
