I just got a PM from Phanman asking about the PAX 2007 DVD and figured I'd just answer it here, since he's probably not the only one wondering what is up with it.
There are three main components to the DVD - the "documentary" portion, the Keynote / Gabe/Tycho Panels and the Concerts. The "documentary" portion was done by Rocco and the guys at Mega 64, and to be honest I've had the final version in hand for months... he did an amazing job with it. The Gabe/Tycho Panels and the Concerts are being edited and the audio is being mixed. I wish i could make the process faster, but there's a lot of back and forth so it takes a lot of time.
Expected release date? Man, I'd love for it to hit the PA Store in the Spring. Maybe earlier.
Some guy.

O.O
Can't wait for some DVD madness. Me want High(er) Def My Belruel
It's only because we all love you in some sort of unhealthy way :P
I'm also going to continue my lobbying effort to make the "Khoo and A" part of PAX08.
Never! (you could just clip the intro credits/song and post it on youtube, that's not too difficult)
excuse me while I go kill myself now for bringing that back.
I'm sorry. I didn't know it was gone
It would be fun to try and re live PAX 07 through the magic of tell-o-vision.
Hey thanks for the warning on that link, fuck head.
But Khoo, what will be done about the missing part of The MiniBosses Concerts?
Why is there stuff missing?
Oh God No!
I hope it didn't.
It was fucking awesome how they played there own songs this year.
Agreed. I was a fan of Coulton before PAX.
E: Also, his interactions with the camera were absolutely amazing.
b: I thought the NESkimos played a set of covers they hadn't done before, rather than their own songs?
The NESkimos traveled back in time and wrote those songs before the games they were on came out.
I want this DVD for 2 reasons.
#1 - Obviously the concerts, I mean who doesn't want all that awesomeness on DVD?
#2 The panels. I got to see some of them but I missed quite a few panels I wanted to see because I simply couldn't be in more than one place at a time.
True, the audio is mixed diffrently from the video. It's live Event Production 101.
You mean the game journalism one?
True, but interest increases 450% when people watch a slow-motion shot of Khoo drinking Bawls in the 2004 DVD.
