We probably wouldn't get nearly as many duplicate threads about this if the title included that it's about Heath. Having search disabled doesn't help either, but that's unlikely to change in the foreseeable future.

I wonder how long until some self-righteous prick comes in here and tells us we shouldn’t care because regular people die all the time and you don’t know Heath and blah blah blah

He tends to do that. He is here in London filming the latest episode of the “Batman” franchise, “The Dark Knight.” (Mr. Bale, as it happens, plays Batman; Mr. Ledger plays the Joker.) It is a physically and mentally draining role — his Joker is a “psychopathic, mass-murdering, schizophrenic clown with zero empathy” he said cheerfully — and, as often happens when he throws himself into a part, he is not sleeping much.
“Last week I probably slept an average of two hours a night,” he said. “I couldn’t stop thinking. My body was exhausted, and my mind was still going.” One night he took an Ambien, which failed to work. He took a second one and fell into a stupor, only to wake up an hour later, his mind still racing.
James Dean too. “Dylan was completely inspired by James Dean, and Heath has a little bit of James Dean in him, even physically, a kind of precocious seriousness,” Mr. Haynes went on. “As adult actors seem more and more infantile and refusing to grow up, middle-aged guys with their baseball caps, Heath is one of those young people who have a real intuition, a maturity beyond their years.”

My goldfish just died and you don't see Bubbles on the front page of CNN, etc.

I don't even know what to say now. Just the implication that the Joker was somehow responsible for Heath dying...makes me feel ill.
So if one were to assume that it's actually viral marketing, do you think we would see him at the premiere? Somehow I think even that is a little too sick.

Rest in peace man.
Man this reminds me way too much of James Dean.

Opening take just doubled.
Not really, probably more 50% more than what it would have been.
Although he wasn't THAT famous, so maybe 25%
But I was including the internet fans.
That's mean mrpaku, she has children too

he went back in time to die?
Assuming he completed all/most of his shots, anyone else think this might seriously boost sales at the box office?

BUT BATMAN
Had this not happened, I was going to make a topic linking to an ebay account where Spears is trying to sell her babies.

Well that makes sense, the shock of having slept with an Olsen twin must have sent him over the edge.
