    Getting off the island at the end of the season. I nailed that by the 2nd episode this season.

    I want to know what happened to Daniel's group. It looked like they weren't close enough to the island, but the boat didn't appear to pick them up either...

    Also, what's Charles Widmore going to do when he finds out Desmond is back... and what's Desmond going to do if/when Ben kills Penny.

    you have no idea how satisfying that reveal was for me.
    I've been sick of his smug fate bullshit since late season 1.
    I mean yeah, he was kinda right sometimes. And, I won't deny he's one of the most compelling characters on TV.
    BUT
    he killed boone, naomi, a shitload of redshirts and probably some more people I'm forgetting all in the name of "lol a ghost told me to."

    will be back plenty in the coming seasons - remember that some three years have passed, so he'll always be around
    doing things on the island with his followers
    until
    things go tits-up and he dies.
    Probably a season for more from now.

    What the hell did Michael's sacrifice mean? It didn't save ANYONE. The entire season would've been just as meaningful if he hadn't SHOWN UP AT ALL.
    What a waste of time.

    Jin? Yeah, if Jin's dead, I'll be pissed. But I'm betting next season begins with the rafters (Daniel/Redshirts) picking up Jin's unconscious body.

    I don't know how I feel about Locke being in the coffin- I'm rather apathetic towards it. There's no way he'll stay dead.
    'Very bad things' happen? We had 'very bad things' this season, and I can't imagine much worse. What, dinosaurs?

    This was my least favorite season finale, and dragged the season down as a whole.
    Not even Penny and Desmond could save it.

    Daniel Dae Kim got a DUI, which we all know is the kiss of death with this show.

    Also, I thought Michael played a substantial role by serving as Ben's mole. Obviously, with the end of the boat, the need for him disappeared as well.

    ...fucking goosebumps the size of god-damn chickens during the kate/claire/dream sequence?!?! Holy fucking shit. And I wanted so bad for it not to be Locke only because that means things went really fucking bad on the Island after Jack left. Like, really. Shall we assume he had to 'move the Island' again? I think we shall. And I do not worry about Locke the character being back, he'll be back plenty.

    When Ben says they ALL have to go back, does that mean Walt too? I'm gonna say yes. Dunno what they'll do about Aarron, I'll bet they take him, but I'll bet ghost Claire gets PISSED. And honestly that fucking scares me. I half expected her face to distort into a demon when she ran up to Kate. Fucking scary.

    No more flash forwards/flashbacks. Just an "On island" storyline and an "off island" storyline.

    Wait, we have Charlotte, Daniel, and the ghost whisperer backstories to fill in some more. So there goes that theory. Somewhat.

    If the Island had just let Michael blow the boat in the first place, he'd have prevented all the events of season 4 and saved everyone, along with preventing the Oceanic Six from escaping the island when they weren't even supposed to escape.

    Ugh.

    This Michael storyline was the weakest plot thread in the series thus far.

    If michael lets the boat blow, Sun + baby + Aaron are also dead. I will bet that Aaron will have to go back, but Sun's baby not so much. That was Michael's part to play, yes? Also Desmond.

    That's how I saw it.
    Michael said (roughly) the same thing to Jin before he left. I figured they were alluding to that.

    I think Jin is actually dead though...

    I think he meant if the 'bomb' michael detonated in the flashback of 'meet kevin johnson'' had actually blown up the boat before it got to the island.
