Anyway, this a quick drapery study from this afternoon. Methinks it may have been a little too quick, I really should have taken my time to get it right rather than rushing to get it finished.
And I still don't have much practice drawing from more than that angle. I should work on that.

i truly have no clue what you drew MKR. i'm facinated with it. I've been looking at it for about 3 min, like it's one of those majic eye images that will pop out if you look at it correctly.
Did you get a tablet or a scanner? If it's a tablet then what are using to make that doodle?
It is a tablet, came with some software called "artrage 2" has all sorts of settings to make the stuff you draw/paint look like it was actually drawn/painted on paper.
Also I'm gonna agree with Cybermonkey, finish that Tam.
Speaking of finishing things. Ugh, finally did some work on this one again. Think it's almost ready for colours (which, at my rate, may never actually be put on there). Gotta fix the slant in the image first and the somewhat too small glass next to the lady at the bar.
Thought I'd try a contour drawing today, but sketching without looking at the paper is goddamn hard! As much as I tried to stop myself, I still ended up looking much more than I ought to have.
^ Agreed! I love it when people post their drawing studies.
edit* Also worked on that singer picture more! Not because i have time - oh no - but because the moment I have about 8 hours of homework and study to complete by Monday I suddenly want to draw.
Many thanks for the critiques thus far, they have been HUGELY helpful.
Aww, so happy. But now all I can think of is a HD-version of that .gif Bacon fashioned involving unhatlike shennanigans...
I started drawing this due to speculation/hope on the part of a Heavy-worshipping friend that the Scout's victim in TF2's "Meet the Scout" video was KO'd rather than totalled. I assumed I remembered the heavy's shape/armour well but... no. I didn't. That's why smart people use references
Brits watch enough god-awful US television to get the joke, trust me.

I'm Australian and I get the joke (which is very cool), US culture is infused into every other culture on the damn planet.
By the way I showed it to some Kalahari bushmen and they have also expressed interested in a t-shirt. They are very fond of one day having a benjamin to call there very own, then can get some bitches and ride dirty, preferably in a Lincoln with some rockin hydraulics.
It's supposed to be the illustrious Art Garfunkle. It's eventually going to be thrown on a shirt and I'm trying to weed out anything that is grotesquely wrong. Any critiques would be appreciated. The end product is going to be black and white, so any light shadows I'm just going to disregard
Every time I look at it, I find something else wrong with it. I find it hard to see the big picture when I'm inking a rough sketch, instead of starting from scratch.

I was not aware that Garfunkle was an alien from the planet Mega-Cerebrum.
And by that I mean...BIG forehead.

A friend of mine requested that I draw a dinosaur with a pipe and top hat surfing in lava. I obliged.

Any suggestions for how to color this?

Really.
The fingers aren't drawn perfectly, but there's nothing impossible about that gesture.
ha! that is awesome.
Seriously until I delete that workline it looks like that heavy's got polydactylis and god knows how I missed that
Dave: I'd love to get that on a t-shirt. Although Brits maybe wouldn't get the joke. But to hell with them, that makes it all the better!

Work in progress, trying to figure out photoshop.
Oh it's such a nice day, I think I'll go out the window! Whoa!
