I just hope the box is really big. I miss computer games coming in huge boxes.
I hated old computer game boxes. Unless they can fill all that space with worthwhile shit it's stupid. Old computer games had enormous boxes that wasted space and were filled with a jewel case maybe and a manual and about 200 cubic inches of air and the box would be crushed all to hell in 3 months. rabble rabble rabble.
The old boxes were dumb, hell the new boxes are dumb 80% of the time. IF you aren't going to fill this big ass case with awesome than use a regular DVD case.
But some of those old PC games stuffed their boxes full with useless but awesome junk.

I just thought. When this hits stores and I go past some innocent idiot who wiseasses "Mo like wowhammer am I rite" I'll be able to grab LoTR Online, War, and Wow, and throw them at his head in order.
Morninglord on
(PSN: Morninglord) (Steam: Morninglord) (WiiU: Morninglord22) I like to record and toss up a lot of random gaming videos here.
No no, see you need to find the biggest Warhammer/Warhammer 40k book you can find, carry that with you, and when you hear some dipshit say something like that repeatedly bash them over the head with it.
Right, which is why the stupid lame extras shouldn't be stuff that actually makes you more powerful in combat. Which is what this junk sounds like it will do.
Well the preorder stuff will, at least somewhat.
One is a buff that gives you extra damage on every attack and the other is some portable resting station.

Camp is probably gonna be /sit with a campfire and the ring will probably be replaced half way to the level cap if not sooner. I wouldn't worry about anything game-breaking.

Considering the amount of work they've put into balancing and the nazi way they're approaching it, I think jumping straight to the "omg it's a game breaker it must be omg omg they've fucked it up already" conclusion is pretty fucking stupid.
Seriously, think for ten seconds before the tin foil hats come out.

It's 2AM and I'm heading to bed. FYI, I'm done talking about this topic and I won't answer any more questions till we release the official information.
I will say though that any in-game items that are in the final CE will not convey an advantage in RvR. There will be no special weapons, armors, etc. that would give someone who bought the CE an advantage in combat against someone who didn't buy the CE.
oh no, an item that does something that another item will probably do at some point in the game that is easily obtainable, so the the only thing you get out of it is the special name. (it probably also doesnt stack with other effects of similar nature)

Which is why they suck.
It should just be like trophies or pets or flashy crap that does nothing at all.
CoH did the smartest thing ever for their pre-orders. Everyone in the game gets Sprint at lvl 1, if you pre-order you got a different graphical version of sprint depending on where you pre-ordered from. Brilliant. ...though people still bitched before realizing that the sprints all moved at the exact same speed.
So with CoV they gave you special costume pieces. No problems there because they didn't effect the game in anyway.
They are the only reason I pre-order anything ever.
Pre-orders are stupid unless I get me some loot. There are 50million stores that sell video games in my town, half the time at least one of them will run a sale or special promo on a game the day it comes out while EBStop does nothing but allow me the privilege of trading my games in for 11% of market value.

can it be an old school, super large PC box complete with cloth map?
haha i still have have all of my old computer game boxes up on my shelf, then right next to them the new tiny ones, it's like a timeline of nerdyness
So do I and I think blizzard had the biggest boxes.
The extras sound lame. I'd much rather have had special trophies or mounts.

Thats bullshit. So they get extra dmg forever??

But, they're so much fun to make.
XBL
That and a fancy box.
Oh, and I'm a sucker for in-game pets... and cloth maps... and art books...
Oh boy, a campfire!
It's a "portable" camp made by an Imperial. I see steam power and sausages being involved.

At least it's not a Tyranid pet.
