Yeah, I don't really mind the change in Spidey's costume. It's a breath of fresh air and a sign of how well he's adapting to being a member of the Avengers now.
I kinda like the new image, Im not sure about the new arms, but I guess its okay if Peter doesnt have them all the time, either being mechanical or some power he can will on and off. Also the gold around his ankles looks weird.
It also makes me a little worried that Joe Q can really only work with red and gold. Even though he does them both nicely.
He actually designed Azrael (and was credited as his co-creator with Denny O'Neil when he had his series) which is why I broguht it up. He also had his creator owned work Ash, and to be honest I forgot what colour he was.
The art of Sword of Azrael kicked pretty well all the rest of the art in the subsequent Knightfall/send, with only the possible exception of Barry Kitson's contribution toward the end, which is part of the reason I hold him in such high regard (along with his Daredevil work)
Did you actually read that arc, or are you just bitching like every other fanboy who can't accept that things change?
It was a surprisingly good story that gets way too much shit.
I've read every single issue of Superman since Man of Steel #1. I didn't find any of the stories in the ELECTRICSUPERMAN era particularly interesting or engaging, save for Morrison's treatment in the JLA where the new Legion of Doom transmits him halfway across the universe.
I lost all faith in modern Spider-Man comics when he started talking to spiders, and yet this still makes me want to cry.
There's like three different Spider-Man series running at any given time and you choose the crappy, cancelled one to take seriously?
I chose to mention that one because it's the best example of why Marvel has lost all their fucking marbles.
So two out of three of the series are great, but one that they cancelled makes Marvel shitty? Makes perfect sense. A flawless exercise of logic, if I understand this correctly. Bravo.
JQ: It is indeed a new Spidey costume! By the way, Brian Bendis just came by and whispered in my ear, “What can be better than one Avenger’s book?†I just asked him what that meant and he walked away cackling…
So am I looking too far into things here, or did they just come out and say he's making a new West Coast Avengers book?

It just keeps on getting worse, doesn't it?
3DS: 5241-1953-7031
I hope it lasts a few months.
Isn't the point supposed to be to make him less creepy so the public will love him or something?
I think I like it though.
Except for the extra arms thing. That just seems silly.
Oh god, all Marvel needs to do is add chromium to the gold portions for this to be a perfect 90's gimmick-costume.
Liquid metal spider-arms? Guys, this is the 21st century Daredevil kneepad.
Though, the coloring does make it look more like a Flash/Spidey than an Iron Man/Spidey mashup.
*No grammatical usage to try and recreate what went through my mind when I saw it.
Other than the spider legs, I like it.
Two words: ELECTRIC SUPERMAN
:?
Side note: Tony's gonna get a patent infringement suit from Goldbug.
Then again, I also didn't expect the arm part. Oh christ.
I'm more curious why arms + legs + metal arms = 7. Spiders have 8 limbs.

It was a surprisingly good story that gets way too much shit.
And was an homage to a classic silver age tale that most of the people bitching about it couldn't bother to read.

Wait, he only has 3 metal arms?
Why not just put 2 on both sides...?
Tony Stark was drunk.
No surprise there.
