    You can get a $300 clarinet, but it will be plastic and poorly made and sound like shit. If you want a good instrument, you're going to pay a lot more.

    I never said "'Oh, such-and-such amount is ridiculous for such-and-such item!'" I just thought it was a bit much, and you as well as Pip just answered my question. I am not very learned when it comes to musical instruments.
