Man I had SO MUCH Star Wars lego. We had, if I can remember correctly...
- Jedi Starfighter
- A-Wing
- Cloud Car
- Slave I
- Tie Advanced and Y-Wing set
- Landspeeder
- Droid Starfighter
- Anakin's Podracer
- Imperial Shuttle
I'm pretty sure we had more but oh man those were the days.
We also had all six of the original Toa from Bionicle, and the Exo-Toa, and all the Borahk, and all the little guys (Matoran they were called I think).
And I can't even begin to name all the random ones we have.
I really need to go play with my brother's Lego now...

When F-Zero was first out, me and some friends built our own concept F-Zero cars out of Lego. Mine was pretty rad.
Oh god I had the most awesome Lego persona way back in the day.
I'm trying again now with a viking named Olaf.
Olaf Trygvason was a cunt, all christianising Norway and such. Canute/Knut is a far better Viking name, because it looks like you misspelled cunt and got the n and u the wrong way around.

Yeah he's a fucking cunt for that. It was the first Vikingish name that came to mind though.
You know which lego pieces are awesome?
The tank threads.
I only had one set with them but oh god I made variations on that tank.
The best was when you combined the cyberslam thing or whatever cannon with it.
Oh shit just thought of something that they would never do but would be awesome.
Bionacle figures. Like, the old-school ones, not these new crappy ones.
But they'd be giants, see (compared to the LEGO folk) so they would be giant boss type things that people would have to use vehicles against and coordinate attacks on and shit.
Those are actually what I meant when I said "old-school". They were called Throwbots here, I guess. I just misremembered them as the earliest Bionicle figs.
I had most of the original run of Slizers.
Anyway, I made some pretty bad-ass customs with them before. I should take a picture of the figure I made.
I only got enough money for one before the robo riders came....
I did have all of the first roboriders though.

It is like someone said, "Hey. I know this guy on the internet, his name is Framling. I'm going to make an mmo just for him. If other folks want to play, that is cool."
LEGO Universe seeks to provide gamers with "a virtual extension of the real-world LEGO" gameplay, by allowing MMO fans a chance to virtually live among each of the thousands of LEGO sets that have been created over the years.
I am envisioning my LEGO airship made out of wild-west pieces (the log-cabin walls) and bristling with guns drifting slowly over a doomed landscape with the Super Mario Brothers 3 airship theme playing on loop.
I'm trying to figure out if this game is going to bother having a currency or if they'll just use bricks. I don't MIND the gold coins and plastic greenbacks but I'm hoping this game is going to be a lot different from the majority of MMO games other than the LEGO spin.
Also, be absolutely assured that the profanity filter will be quite tight, and TLC will stop at nothing to destroy your floating dongs the second they are made. If other policies in the past are a good indication, then a "Report as Inappropriate" button will be affixed on your UI somewhere.
You're probably wrong, bongi. It won't institute a micropayment system because they are marketing to kids. If any disappointment happens, it will be based on the lack of complexity.
The game will be mainly aimed at the 8-12 set, but much like the Star Wars games, Hanson expects that quite a few adults will be interested as well. But the main goal is to create a safe space MMO where kids can go to play comfortably without all the nonsense that many adult MMOs bring to the table. Regular chat will be a moderated system with canned questions and responses, but there will also be a free "friend list" chat that will be available to players with parental approved friend's lists.

Pirates are for teh gayz. Real men had Space oriented legos.
Bongi, we will settle this bet in 2010 when my Ice Explorers freeze the water your little bitch-ass floats on.
which lego game will be better
indiana jones or batman
my money's on batman
LEGO Indiana Jones is trying a lot of new things, especially the physics-based whip mechanics.
I only ever had that small set linked a few pages back, but the dude that came with it was my lego persona
would that make me a... bricky?

I made a TD for iphone and windows phone!

Yeah, Lugnet is fantastic as long as you stay off the newsgroups.
I feel that, given my past, I can be described as real excited.

that is dumb
People on the internet who want to fit in? I don't know. It's hard for me to compare. I'm sort of like a LEGO elitist.
I have friends who put me to shame, but when I tell other people about my involvement with LEGO, they sort of get wide-eyed and back away slowly.
is that the same thing?
there will be be block limits on anything you build
and retards ruining it for everyone
and i wouldn't be surprised if they implement a micropayments system like magic the gathering online
basically, i would put money on it being expensive and limited
lets build the cave rocket
okay we need more blocks for the twin globe stabilizers
serious question
As his solicitor, I can soundly say "Yes, yes it is"
