Event pre-reg

Last year when registering for PAX, we had the option to sign up for events in advance. One of the full events I was sad to not get into was the DnD duels.

I don't plan to let that happen, so I am hesitant to register for PAX now, only to have the event pre-reg get tagged into the system after I am done.

Is there any official word on how this will get done? I mean, with 700-some people allready registered, and bound to wants spots in the events, how will they be allowed to do it?

I swear, I'm retiring from any game with the word 'Revolution" in the title. I must be the only person who breathed a sigh of relief at not being called for the Omegathon this year.

    First and foremost, the tourney pools will be much larger this year, in hopes of not having so many full tournaments. Some of tabletop ones last year were pretty small, but the tabletop section in general will be expanded five-fold.

    Prereg no longer has the ability to sign up for tourneys, as there were too many "no-shows" last year (turns out our programming was a little *too* compelling... people wanted to go to the panels, exhibition room, concerts, etc. instead). So all tourneys will be day-of signups only throughout the event.

    Are you and Gabe playing in the Splinter Cell Tourney this year? and more importantly is there even going to BE a SC tourney this year??

    My friend and I played against you guys in the semi-finals 2 years ago on the Museum level. I wanted a rematch last year but things fell through and I wasn't able to make it. I will be there this year though.

    Haha, I still remember our match- not quite sure how we pulled that one out. ;)

    As far as Splinter Cell this year- we're not sure, since SC4 may or may not be out at that time. We'll be playing it by ear, but I'm definitely pushing for it.

    When, if at all, will a list of the tournaments come out? That way I know which ones I need to practice on
