Let's talk DS games with single cart multiplayer

So I'm looking for the best games that have single cart multiplayer. The ones I currently know are worth playing are:

Bomberman Land Touch: has 8 player bomberman goodness.

Elite Beat Agents: Multiplayer EBS. Downloaders get a limited version, but hey they get to play.

Oendan 2: Multiplayer O2: Same as EBS

Mario Kart DS: They play as shyguys but it's still good

Tetris DS: Multiplayer Tetris

Meteos: Multiplayer Meteos

New Super Mario Bros: Has a collect the stars vs mode between mario and liuigi

So what games am I missing that are worth checking out? What games should I avoid?

I know that Advance Wars DS: Dualstrike has a download version, but it's an arcadey version of the game that, in my opinion, isn't worth the time.

Man no one ever wanted to play NSMB's multiplayer with me, which really sucked. It's basically what I've wanted ever since I played the first Mario Bros.

Most of the good single-cart games have been mentioned, but here's a few more:

Star Fox: Command: Multiplayer Star Fox deathmach!
Metroid Prime: Hunters: Gimped, but still fun, multiplayer FPS deathmatch
Metroid Prime: Pinball: Limited to one level, but still pretty fun (basically a score attack mode)
Jump Superstars / Jump Ultimate Stars (import): Like Smash Bros., but anime. Limited choice of characters.
Daigasso! Band Brothers (import): Music game. 1 cart = 8 players, and I believe it is stackable (2 carts = 16 players, etc)
New Super Mario Bros.: I know this was already mentioned, but I think you can play the mini-games via single-cart.

It's worth noting that Bomberman (regular ol' Bomberman, not Bomberman Land Touch) also has 8-player multi, and will be dirt cheap if you can find it (I got it for $15 new more than a year ago).

Mario Party DS has single-cart multiplayer. In fact, I'm pretty sure it's single-cart multiplayer ONLY.

Anyway, it's easily one of the best in the series and definitely worth a look.

the only arguements me and my old flatmate ever had somehow involved me being a bastard in NSMB multiplayer.

To be fair, I am a bastard at it. He tries to be, I am just much better at being a bastard than he is.

I don't think it's possible to play NSMB multiplayer and win WITHOUT being a bastard.

Also, what games are very average and skip-able, but the inclusion of single-cart multiplayer makes it worth playing?

For example I know first hand that Bomber-man touch's single player, that is the actual touch stuff, is downright awful. The multiplayer inclusion is it's saving grace.

Along with those good recommendations, I also suggest looking into:

    Clubhouse Games
    Konami Classics Series: Arcade Hits

Well there's also the Ubi-published "Bomberman DS" which preceded Touch. It also supports 8 players single cart, and it should be super cheap bargain bin by now.

It's single player was straightforward traditional bomberman classic -- enter an arena, kill the enemies with bombs/powerups, exit through the door. Then every few levels there's a boss that you destroy.

The multiplayer is traditional, classic bomberman.

But Touch has it as well.

I have no idea which is the better game, but average reviews are higher for Touch. I think the Multiplayer single cart is the same on both I think.

I would honestly say that the Bomberman DS version, not Bomberman Land Touch!, is the better version for multiplayer. It has more options for weapons if I remember correctly. A huge variety of power ups, while Bomberman Land Touch! has a very small variety of power ups. Touch! does have wi-fi though.

I think all of the really good single cart games have been mentioned. There is a lot of good there.

    Bomberman in particular.

I can't remember if Bleach had it or not. I seem to remember it did, it just took forever for the data to be sent. Might be something else.

Mario Kart DS is pretty much the best single-cart multiplayer ever.

If everyone you know isn't a douchebag who plays online all the time and can snake, then you can pretty much just sit around playing for hours.

Geometry Wars: Galaxies has a pretty robust singleplayer and has a very nice single cart feature IIRC.
Worms Open Warfare 2 has excellent single cart MP, if you're into worms.

No it just sends a demo of the multiplayer that they try by themselves.

Yeah, Bleach 1 & 2 has it. It takes around a minute and a half to two minutes to load. The 2nd chooses your teams for you which is a bit strange considering the first allowed you to pick for yourself. That maybe because of the larger character roster in the sequel though.

Just did a quick search on Google, I haven't played most of these so I can't vouch for 'em:

Advance Wars: Days of Ruin (Hotseat)
    Big Brain Academy
Break 'em All (2-8 players. Multiplayer Breakout/Arkanoid with lots of features)
    Bust a Move
    Cooking Mama 2
Custom Robo Arena (Limited parts to choose from)
    DK Jungle Climber
Dungeon Explorer: Warriors of Ancient Arts (Up to 3 can join in a seperate adventure)
    Final Fantasy III
    Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales
    Gunpey DS
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Crappy single player, fun minigames. Dunno if it's enough to save it.)
    Lunar Knights (Battle)
    Magnetica (Beefy multiplayer)
Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (Very limited, can't do favorite events)
Mega Man ZX Advent (Gem Breaker, a simpler Puzzle Fighter)
Mr. Driller Drill Spirits (Up to 4 players. Single cart multiplayer for Japan and Europe only.)
Namco Museum DS (Pac Man VS.)
Nanostray (2 players head to head)
Nanostray 2 (2 players head to head)
    New York Times Crossword
Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots (Co-op. Beat 'em up)
    Panzer Tactics DS (Hotseat)
Petz series (From what I've played, Dogz, it's like Clubhouse Games with less games to pick from)
    Planet Puzzle League
Point Blank (Pretty fun multiplayer for a single cart)
    Pokemon Trozei!
Race Driver: Create and Race (Up to 4 players. Decent track designing, customizing car aspect and for ~$10 too.)
    SBK: Snowboard Kids
    The Simpsons Game
Sonic Rush (Full and pretty fun if you like to race, 14 tracks to choose from)
    Sonic Rush Adventure
    Space Invaders Extreme
Super Monkey Ball Touch & Roll
Taiko no Tatsujin DS (Up to 4 players. Japan only.)
    Tank Beat
Touch Panic (Japan only so far. Like Pipe Dream with variety and goals. Not import friendly for certain modes.)
    Yoshi Touch & Go (Race)

Edit: Alphabetized list and all right, I'm done. That's all I've got in me.

Why on earth has this not been released in the states. DS 8-player rock band, for crying out loud.

edit: They should strike a deal with Vicarious Visions and Red Octane to release a version compatible with the DS Guitar Grip, thus increasing the sales of both games.
