    I meant on the railcar.

You know, my wife may be on to something when she says I just say things without context.

    ahhhh...

For a while they were making them like that, but they found that after so many miles of the cars bumping around on the track the door latches would come apart mid-trip and spill their cargo. Before anyone got crushed at a rail road crossing they went back to the "under the rail car trap doors" that usually get jammed shut with corrosion and other bullshit so that is why they just skip all the mess and climb to the top.

Ok, I figured there would be a reason no one was using something as simple as a door.

I have quite a huge hardon for technical playing regardless of song quality though (eg dream theater, Primus, Racer X, Opeth), so it's right up my alley.

Demetri Martin is probably one of my favorite people. If you have the time, check out his "If I" segment on Youtube. It's split into about 6 parts I believe, and is more of a motivational thing than a comedy act. Very cool.

    Great.

I just watched If I and it it was was just great. Motivational and and funny stuff for nerds.

I also don't care for Ronald Jenkees for pretty much the same reason. When I watched that video I lost interest within a minute because while I could recognize that it took skill to play that, it wasn't making me feel anything, there was no communication taking place. It just seems lifeless to me.
