if you can't pass an econ final, then you do not deserve to post on my internet
I did fine in microeconomics last year, but I'm not a fan of the policy aspect of this macro class
I'll pass, but probably not stellarly. I think I'm riding the 2.5/3 barrier right now, depending on the curve.
macro is so much easier than micro
gdp
the fed
keyensian vs. monetarists
shazzam
That was the first exam, which I did wonderfully on. Now it's all abstract analysis that seems to contradict itself half the time, and the book makes no sense, nor does the Brazilian professor.

Just draw a picture of a soccer ball for any questions you can't answer.

It's all multiple choice!
Otherwise I'd just study up on the Champion's League and discuss the matches...
I'd much rather write a paper than take a final. I can crack out a decent 10 page research paper for a history class in three hours, if I'm actually accurately citing sources.

I'll have a final in that class too, but it's history so it'll be fairly easy if i avoid writing something retarded that I for some reason assumed was true.
I have a final for California Civil Procedure on Wednesday, followed by copyright 2 days later, trademarks 4 days after that, and constitutional law is a take-home.
I've never had a take-home exam, and I hear they suck.

Y'know.
Yeah, history finals aren't too bad, so long as you don't make shit up. And if it's an essay, cite a wide variety of sources.

I'm the opposite. I hate papers. You can procrastinate far too much, I'm always rephrasing the dumbest sentences, and citations are the most annoying thing. Plus I always have to add fluff because I can never reach the minimum page requirement.
Tests are just a single event, and then you're done. So much better, it's ridiculous. Of course, this semester that turned on me, as I've had one paper, but a couple classes of only (impossible) tests, but with no assignments to balance my grades out.

Yeah, that seems to be the big difference between last year in high school, and this year in college. No middle ground busy-work assignments to boost the grade. Also: actually learning something

Nah, I am doing my paper on a book. Two Comedies by Catherine the Great, one of the choices we had among others. Which is like 80 pages long. And ended up costing me 43 bucks shipped from BN.
Amazon didn't even have it.
43 fucking bucks, jesus. And I already bought like four other books for this course.

History is expensive.
Amen to that. I probably spent somewhere aroun $150 for my assorted history books for just one class.
Granted, my damn econ textbook cost me 110 by itself. Used.

hmmm
My first hard one was awful, and it's the first time I'm unsure if I will even pass the class.
I have one last one tomorrow, but I'm not studying seriously for it.

Tomorrow I will half-ass my way through a Cat and Class final exam.
Day after that I will begin the two-day process of half-assing my way through an eight-page paper.
Friday I will whole-assedly get extremely drunk and play Settlers of Catan at the bar.

oh, that stuff
yeah good luck
then I got my degree
then I got a job
Need some stuff designed or printed? I can help with that.

Thankfully the two this week are easy because I'm going to be playing the fuck out of GTA.
Whoo for being another step closer to that minor in Spanish though. Get that out of the way this week.

No, not about this, I just mean in general.
For thinking you should make a thread.
All of it. The total package.

I have yet to take a language in college, but I need two years of one for my degree. I'm not looking forward to it.
Sounds like you're in some sort of international relations program?
yep
international studies/hispanic studies double major, so I don't mind the language requirements
Craziness. Where at?
Last final yayyyy

Cool stuff. Just wondering because all the international relations people at Michigan State are in my residence hall.
