Pseudo-sequel to the excellent Megaman clone from a year and a half ago. The levels are redesigned and there's a new protagonist with newrobot mastersbosses, but otherwise, like Megaman, the majority of the graphics are all recycled, which I personally find a little disappointing. A demo was released last Comiket (not freely available.)
Not too bad of a little action game if there's something more than just the jetpacks eventually, but the repetitive music was slowly driving me insane.
Not something I'd actually recommend, but somethingI did find hilarious. The site does have a "NSF <18" warning, but it's so not worth the half gig download to check out the trial and find out exactly why. Just to warn you though.
An SRPG from the makers of [vidurl=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZbM5Z-nrN1M]Crescent Pale Mist[/vidurl]. They released a trial version (not freely available) at the last Comiket, but I wasn't really overly impressed. Nice soundtrack though.
A Castlevania clone with Touhou characters. Giving Reimu a whip and axes is so unnecessary.
====================
This isn't comprehensive either. Aside from me justlikely overlooking some stuff or their adverts in the catalog being really lame so I didn't check further, we've gotNekomimi Kakera showing off their new game at their booth, other groups releasing updates for their older games, Daisessen's got something new, and just about all the Touhou doujin games are off mixed in somewhere in the 50 page monstrosity of Touhou stuff which I so do not care to parse through.
F-Miyako is like GGXX:AC Jam. You picking up the PS2 release Aroduc or just waiting for the eventual PC port?
Platinif Dispositif and maids? What a surprise.
How is Scarlet Symphony? I didn't give the trial a go.
More STGs are always nice. TWINS/TWAINS was fun so I'll expect Alternative Sphere to be pretty cool.
Waiting. I don't have (a nearby friend with) a Japanese PS2 anymore anyway. I wasn't overly impressed with Symphony either, but I've always disliked Castlevania.
You know... of all the things that may or may not be legit, I find myself hoping China vs the Whale is.
Edit:
First impressions of UFO stage 4+...
Uh. Needs patch. Badly. As soon as I hit cloudbitch, my system starts grinding to keep going and begins lagging like a motherfucker and never stops. Granted, I've only gotten up to around midway through 5, but even practice mode starting there makes my poor laptop seize up, and I'm reading other reports of the game having some pretty bad framerate issues from the new content onward too. If it was consistent, I'd be able to deal with it, but dodging giant anchors at 35 FPS... no, 60! okay, 20... 45... 30... 60! doesn't work.

What processor does your laptop have? While it should be way above the system requirements, I'm curious as to exactly how bad the lag problem is.
Barrakketh on
Rollers are red, chargers are blue....omae wa mou shindeiru
UFO is very, very very good. But the UFO system can go die. 1 ups and bombs dependent on fixed UFO placement with no-so-fixed color changing. The flashing ones change in a predetermined color pattern with a no-so-predetermined rhythm. Every time I reach for that third rhythm just when it's about to change it stops flashing and moves on, holds, holds, holds it, then bullets whizz by, I back away and then it changes and I miss it. Watch the EX Stage video and watch all the Blue and Green all over the screen for a good five minutes.
And the story mode's revelation? They're not aliens. There are no aliens. It's Nue smokin' n jokin' and going fufufufufu... It's actually Bhudda Treasure #295.
BHUDDA BHUDDA BHUDDA BHUDDA ROCKIN EVERYWHERE!
Enough of my bitching. I love this game. Don't listen to me.
TH12.3 Story Mode is epic, but it only has three characters, but the whole game hypes up the giant robot, complete with a Steamboy looking menu. No giant robot at the end either. Some very epic fights ensue though. It's time for me to move on to Arcade Mode. I got beaten by AI Patchouli. Very good.

You're weak
UFO is the best scoring system Touhou has ever had.
What processor does your laptop have? While it should be way above the system requirements, I'm curious as to exactly how bad the lag problem is.
1.73 ghz.
And I hate the UFO system too. It's better than MoF or SubAni, but meh. There's enough shit flying around the screen without multicolored flashing UFOs that you're NOT supposed to be avoided. I'm still calling IN the best without contest though. Hell, I miss the days when they had branching stage 4s, let alone stage 6, last words, and an extensive THESE CARDS WILL FUCK YOU UP mode.
So after dealing with HOLY CRAP BULLETS EVERYWHERE GIANT FISTS AND ANCHORS GOTTA GET THE UFOS for a while I went back and 1cc'd Mountain of Faith without even trying.
Here's another China, much more defensive and drops almost all of his air juggles though. Could just be because Utsuho and China are kind of opposite ends of the spectrum.
New boss is Archetype: Earth. AKA Arc Type:Earth. I'm hearing that she's the same as Arc, but her Exs and Arc Drives are changed to screen covering rape. Kind of like Aoko was in MBR.

I've found a key trick that has made this system about 25% less brutal.
When you're in close proximity to a changing UFO, it stops switching colors. I can't tell if this is being in Focus or both Focus and Unfocused, but it is symbolized by the UFO not flashing. This means hovering around your UFO waiting for it to change is the opposite of what you need to do. And instead, hover around it when there is a break in the action so you can wait for some baddies to harvest.
Nah. I knew about that. It's only really useful on stage 1 and maybe 2 though, when you can afford to follow a UFO around instead of focusing on the bullets. Or if you want to use a bomb to clear enough space to let you manipulate them. Which is fine if you're going for a green or red one I guess since you'll come out ahead overall.
I'm working on a Shikigami no Shiro/Castle Shikigami article for HG101. Hoping for some feedback by any Shiki scholars out there, who seem to be few and far between(if they even exist).
No one seems to know much about the plot, so I made that my focus.
What's scary is that the third game easily has the most convoluted story(and it had the best localization), and that's the part I haven't written yet.
So Bara-canceling. Is there a move or blockstring I can easily practice on?
Hisui's 236C is easy as snot to cancel. Len's 5C is also pretty easy to cancel, as is her normal AD (it'll just pass through you). Tohno's 236C is good if you want to see the timing because it has obnoxiously long blockstun on the second hit. You may also be mistaken in your understanding of how the blocking in MBAC works. As long as you're in blockstun and you're hit again, the block will be held. The bara cancel isn't perfect and still loses to things with top/constant priority like Akiha's flames or Nanaya's 236.
