Fuck yeah lets get out galciv 2 on hell yeaaaah
Alright let's make our galaxy here
my god it's full of stars
and it's all going to be ours
alright we gotta pick a leader, and a flag.
Welcome to earf
We're gonna start by researching research(we're so fucking meta)
building a scout ship
Short term goal: Take over MARS
Alright we got Mars.
I'm going to turn Mars into a research center. We gonna get hella research up ins.
Research on Xeno Research finished too. Now we're working on planetary improvements.
Check the economy yo.
We ain't really doing a whole lot yet.
Doop doop doop flying through space looking for anomalies.
Aww snap a wormhole. Everyone hold on. Okay dang where is our ship.
Sup doggy. Guess we're not alone guys. Well let's make some trades. This is our first
contact
Let's see how Earf is doing.
We got a manufacturing plant set up on the manufacturing bonus tile. We just completed
our first scout ship. Working on building "Diplomatic Translators" This'll give us a big
advantage in talking to people.
Aww yeah, trade researched. Gonna get the economy on now, doggys.
Okay I'm not sure if I'm going to continue this
but guys lets play galciv2 it's the best game about space.

I was really enjoying it until I saw
"Ascension Victory for Arcean Empire: 492 weeks"
that box is getting unchecked next time.
The graphics overhaul is juicy as are many of the new automation features (specifically ship creation) I didn't play since the original release and I am wondering what's up with asteroid belts.
we also talk about other random shit and clown upon each other
but i dont have any money
GalCiv 2 is more of a Master of Orion successor than one that tries to ape AC's style.
Jasconius, just automate your miner and it'll go around developing all the asteroids. Whichever planet is getting the little trade route lines will get a small boost to production and (I think) economy/research. You can also click the asteroid mines to choose which planet gets the bonus.
Copying.
motherfucking Terror Stars
Ascendancy
They are a lot more convoluted than GalCiv, though. By a lot.
all you dudes do is
why dont you play a different game
Hey man I am cheering you on!
That game was nothing short of incredible.
Also, you can get it for free now with the (admittedly cheesy, but still charming) voice acting from the 3D0 version as The Ur-Quan Masters
That is awesome. Wonder if I can rig that bitch to work on an eee pc.
Shit, I want an eee PC.
Ah, 3D0.
I fucking loved Battletanks on the N64. Spent night after night playing that with my buddy.

The original was pretty cool, to. I used to muck about in the editor all the time to make seriously biased scenarios for myself to win. It was great fun.
Oh shit, I hadn't heard of that! That's fucking rad.
Now I'm looking for my binder of StarCon stuff. I hope I didn't throw it out. Those GURPS character templates were pretty interesting.
22 pages. Crazy.
Man, I must have read those pages dozens of times.
They just don't make them like that any more.
Pretty sure it was two binders, since there was so much dialogue in the game.
What was everyone's favorite race? Mine was the Mael-Num, excuse me, Melnorme.
Aw screw it I'm installing this game on my PC tonight!
I love that game.
Edit:, Oh and the Syreen, because how can I forget a race of decadent space vixens. Have I mentioned how much I love this game?
Man X3 has nothing on Star Control's learning curve.
Shit I had everything here
"The Basics of Orz-Speak"
"You know you've been playing too much Star Control when..."
A list of every ship captain name for every alien ship in the game (Shofixti: Hiyata, Wasabi, Kudzu, Ichiban, Bonsai!, Genjiro, Ginzu, Busu, Gaijin, Daikon, Sushi, Naninani, Chimchim, Tora-3, Tofu, Kimba, Tanaka, Katana)
The GURPS templates, which are awesome:
