Mcauliffe: spouts the usual line.
Matthews: Terry, let me just tell you something, in all heart, because you're a pro. From my position, professionally, I love covering these primaries. I love turnout, I love the fact that more people have registered, I love the fact that young people are telling their parents to get out off their butt and go out and vote. I love the excitement of this campaign. I'm one of those people out there are out that agrees completely with you. I don't mind you using me as a punching bag, but at least
get it through your head that you're arguing with a strawman here. That everyone everybody in our business of covering politics loves doing it, loves the excitement of it, and has no interest whatever in it ending, so I don't who you're arguing with, Terry. Not me. But I understand why you're setting this up because it makes Hillary the David. I know, it's all a part this party of this Rocky thing.
Mcauliffe: It's because people for a long time have been telling Hillary to get out of the race. She shouldn't get out of the race
Matthews: She's not getting out of the race.
Mcauliffe: Why should she get out of the race? Until someone gets the number to be the nominee, the race should go on.
Matthews: You know what I want? Since you're asking what we pundits want? We all want a convention. We all want to not know going to Denver who'll win. We all want a roll call on like a Wednesday night. We want to not know until 5 minutes to midnight who's gonna be the nominee. So when you guys come out hour after hour complaining about the pundits who wants this over with you're arguing with
no one... Terry.
Mcauliffe: Then people should not say..
Matthews:
No one!

Or at the least, he's going to have to fellate Hillary.
Sexually.
Take that, motherfuckers.
Dems +3 in the house already this year.
Childers 51%
Davis 49%
He is only in danger in that is basically stated that he (and all of the pundits) want to drag this out as long as they can for the ratings. Lopsided races aren't as entertaining as "close" races for pundits.
It was called for Childers - yay.
This will do in its place.
Childers winning was what I was waiting for. I'm going to go play FES.
Also, hell yeah on the Childers win. What was that about Obama having to be scared of republican attack ads in the fall and being a drag down ticket? I do believe he just by proxy kicked those arguments square in the teeth.
I scribbled it down as it happened, so it's less than an hour old. I don't know if anyone had the time to put on youtube.
Yeah, that's damn fine too. I'm not optimistic about his chances in the fall unless Obama has amazingly long coattails, but it's nice to see him up there. He's one of the young, tech savvy, solid progressives I'd love to see more of on the national stage.
Well then. Those are quite some cojones.
He isn't going to give you a ride.
It means that in a district Bush won by 20-25 points that tieing Barack Obama around the Democrat candidate for House failed miserably. It seems Childers improved Democratic performance over the initial ballot.
Because you TOUCH YOURSELF AT NIGHT! :x
Heh.
Listen, I tried, and Obama won my state by almost 40%. Why couldn't you try a little harder? :P
A six-point victory for a Democrat in Mississippi is an assraping for the Republicans.
November is going to be awesome! It should, hopefully, make the '06 mandate look like it was just a note in the employee suggestions box.
Huh?
If the number of shotguns outnumbers the number of computers, it's probably not an Obama state?
The caucus back in Feb, not the primary today.
Damn.
Anyway, McCain still only got 1%.
Pshaw.
