My understanding is there going to be 2 MGS4 bundles. One is a black 80GB one with MGS4 for $500. The other is a gunmetal grey 40GB one with MGS4 for I guess $600.
Honestly, who'd pay an extra $100 for a special color?

You know, caring about hard drive sizes on the PS3 seems a bit silly
It's a standard, user-upgradeable 2.5" SATA drive, you can get a 400 gig version for like $80
Yeah I honestly don't even think it looks as nice, but that's beside the point. The point is what its capabilities are. It's a piece of hardware first and foremost, not a decoration.

Yeah I know I was just saying that on top of everything else hardware wise the black looks better

Right, but that costs eighty dollars and you have to put in some effort. So there is some reason there.
Issues like backwards compatibility are also important.
Yeah but that's 400 gigabytes. If you just bought a 40 gig and wanted to go to an 80, you could probably grab one from the bottom of a box of Fruity fucking Pebbles
And I thought all the currently in production PS3s had the same backwards-compatibility schema

Also, the effort to switch out hard drives is basically 1) back up your data with a few button presses 2) take out old hard drive 3) stick in new, bigger hard drive
and with streaming and the ability to use external hard drive, space really is a moot point on the ps3 hard drive unless you buy tons and tons of game with huge installs.
it was tough as first but once it clicks it's pretty manageable. I mean I was entertaining myself on the normal enemies by seeing how cinematic i could make their deaths sometimes but it was still challenging, no doubt.
I mean Alma for example wiped the floor with my ass probably dozens of times and it's not like I just waltzed through it, but once you can position yourself right to be ready to dodge her whenever and know when to hit her and how then you've got 90% of it down
If so, that's not Ninja Gaiden Sigma, and Alma appears to be significantly weaker in that version. Also, the guy uses ninpo FOUR TIMES and chugs two Great Spirit Elixirs.

It's was never confirmed it was going to be a 80GB here it was all just speculation.
apparently it is because the press release specified 40 gb
which is dumb for $600
Mainly for MGS4, Killzone 2, and Resistance.
But my 360 comes first, and with all the good games coming out for the 360 this year, I doubt I'm going to have any money left for a PS3.
and that's $500
so I guess the question is are you willing to pay more for a ps3 with less features that is grey and comes with a making of dvd or whatever
So does your mom.
don't sass me
look, just get a second job, plebe

I've been trying to reach you, but your extension cord doesn't reach that far.
you bought a PS3 since i've been over?
you're such a cunt

Rich people who really like the color grey

So they've still got the software/hardware split?
And the 80 gig has the good one, I assume?
I've had it almost 2 months, bought a Dualshock 3, and the most it's played is the MGO beta and the Burnout demo.
Uh, that's a cutscene. There's no combat going on there.
Did you mean this?
