holy shit ligers are the most awesome cat on earth

This things are from when a tiger and a lion bone, but sadly enough they are infertile

I'll tell you though, I wouldn't mind having one of these things around the house just because of how awesome they are

    Specifically, it's the product of a male lion and a female tiger.

    A male tiger and female lion results in a "tigon," which looks different and doesn't get nearly as big.

    yeah lions and panthers can bone too

    and a bunch of other big cats

    because they're technically the same species, just different sub species

    kind of like dogs and wolves

    Lions and tigers are in the same genus, but are different species. At least that's been my understanding.

    Tigers are the coolest.

    I have had the oppurtunity to pet them and despite seeing them several times at the zoo I was blown away by how large they are.
