Price - Samsung
Quality - Bravia.
You'll have to wrangle a specific model but thats what ive been told is the best way to go. samsung make some decent tvs that are dirt fucking cheap. on the flipside, bravias are hands down the best quality, but also some of the most expensive.
i currently sport a spiffing bravia, but i kinda wish i had cheaped out and gone for something waaay less expensive and maybe got like two tvs instead.

Samasungs bassically have alot of the internals that are exactly the same as Sonys but they save the really good stuff for the Bravia range.
I only say that because I bet when it is released here they will price it against that new touch screen LG and the htc touch and the n95 8gb and the blackberries, then the iphone probably wont look that impressive against them
it is probably really cool on the american market, but so would a nokia 5110 taped to a sony atrac walkman
Yeah it is catching up to all the other phones. The draw is the OS X software and interface. And the fact that there's a 1 in 20 chance that merely having an iphone will get you some sex.

i believe that if it's under 42" you can't tell the difference between 720 and 1080
