Wonder no more my good chap, and thanks! I'm interwebless at my house now, and will remain so for 2 weeks. Fortunatly I can mosey on down to the local library and totally freeload off them. Cheers to that.
That or just hope for Sega to get off there asses and make JGR Wii with the motion plus accessory. How cool would it be, to walk around your living space spraypainting a wall that does not exist in the physical world?
Pretty damn cool.
But thanks for the comment and also for checking out the blog.
My God, this thread is old. You've come a long way, Adam. I really like the pig surrounded by the birds and would make it my desktop it were the correct size.
So I'm working on a Tshirt design for a local shop I work at. If it comes out good enough, I think that they will want to use it. The first one is the original doodle, and the second is a cleaned up photoshop.
Anything you guys think that could be better? I'm gonna move ahead with this project soon, so any crits would be helpful.
I wrote a six word story earlier today and it was originally going to be about cows on their hind legs taking over the world... so in other words :^: as usual.
I was going to say the first one's face wasn't very cowlike, but the inked version pretty much took care of that.
Hmm, for some reason, I'd think a cow would be more of a sumo-wrestler type than ninja/samurai...
Just my thoughts, but if I were going for comedic effect, I would blow up those udders bigtime, and fatten the cow out all around. Something about the fat-ass cow kicking ass makes me giggle. That, and I'd probably make the background less busy...but good color choices could do that for you regardless.
Hey input! Thanks. Yeah, I think a sumo cow would be more feasable, but at the store we only sell samurai/ninja weapons. I'll def fatten him up a bit, along with the utters.
As for the colors, it's going to just be white on black so I'll make sure the background isn't too cluttered.
Ha! Those are some incredible nipples, and I demand it to be unspoilered.
Here's an update on the shirt with a few edits. Background was too cluttered as mentioned, so I changed that up a bit. Fixed the belly and made him a little plumper. Played around with the text a bit too.
I edited the face, but I'm not sure it was for the better. Thoughts?
I like both faces personally, and this design is shaping up to be pretty rad. The only thing I'm not sure about is how some elements are just linework, while others have the really intricate shading.
If anything, I'd keep the shading in the background and lettering, and maybe just make the cow solid black and white. That might make her stand out some more. (Or the other way around. Really.)
More stuff. I've been putting in a lot of work over at the battle for arcadia, and you can see much of it here. I inked over 15 pages, with pencils by catnip and notjho. It was really fun collaborating with such great artists, and we still have one more cycle to go.
This was a sort of teaser/splash page for cycle 2. Crazy color by airlight and neato lines by notjho, inked by me.
And my submission for super hobo, if you havent seen the contest thread.
Would I even produce anything if it weren't for these contests? Good question.
Just to prove that I actually HAVE been doing something, have a two page preview for the upcoming last cycle of War for Arcadia. EWA vs Nigel Fighter. <the battle>
I think I've watched the professional more than just about any other piece of cinema. I'm glad though because that movie contains some of the greatest lines of all time.

Huh, I've never thought of it as so much of a quotable movie as say, Pulp Fiction, to me the greatest thing about that movie is the action sequences and Leon himself.

Hahaa thanks.
It's funny cause when I sketched out the panels originally, there was no dialoge in that panel. Hooray for last minute additions.
