PAX Exhibitor List Released
Moe FwackyRight Here, Right NowDrives a BuickModeratorMod Emeritus
The complete-to-date list of PAX Exhibitors was listed on Kotaku today. The Expo Hall is full, but I don't know if that means this list is final or not.
i'm more or less waiting for E3 before getting super excited over the exhibition hall. if it's anything like last year, it'll just be E3 part 2 all over again...which is fine by me!
I guess... Bawls isn't really an exhibitor, and also they might just not be on the OFFICIAL list, and be selling them from someplace slightly off-site. I hope.
Maybe the competition between Brawndo and Bawls is fierce enough that Bawls refused to sponsor the same event Brawndo did... or maybe Brawndo required exclusivity? If so, I'd gladly knee the company that makes Brawndo in the Bawls. The very existence of Brawndo as an actual product (instead of a movie-based satire of our idiotic society) is mildly offensive to me.
I wonder if the list is final? nVidia not being there seems weird, Valve not being there seems incomprehensible considering they live here and play ping pong with PA Inc. (Maybe they got trounced in a game and are sore losers?)
I'm pretty sure the list is final. I see no spaces left on the floor plan that was released as well, and even if there was I doubt that they would make a press release with the list unless it was not going to change.
Outside, open-air it is more or less the same. My thought was that it is not a part of the floor plan as it is not in the interior. If it is not interior it is exterior. Exterior more often than not means outside

I don't think you're comprehending.
The SkyBridge is the bridge that crosses the street in the upper-left of the photo. The exhibition hall is to the left of that, while the main part of the convention center is what's on the right side of the photograph.
Last year, BYOC and PC freeplay were on the right side of the bridge, and the main theater and the exhibition hall were on the left. This year, the exhibition hall has consumed the main theater.

As for the map, man, Rockstar has a small booth this year. Guess that makes sense though, last year this time GTA4 was close to release.
But, yeah, weird Valve isn't there. They weren't there last year (as G&T joked, they must've figured it easier to get to Germany instead of trucking down I-5 to the convention center) so to see them gone two years in a row is kind of weird.
Also, food in the exhibition hall is new. Last year they had a stand set up on the SkyBridge.
I'm not a big fan of the D&D MMO, but I was utterly, hopelessly addicted to the original Asheron's Call for years. If they had one of the original AC developers there, I'd love to meet them. That was such a great game!

Its inside the convention center and its not open air, its enclosed from the elements.

I find it interesting that Nintendo has a smaller booth than Microsoft and Sony. I'd figure there would be some kind of contractual agreement that all three had to have the same size. Kinda like how Mickey and Bugs Bunny had to have equal air time in Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

That's because while Sony and Microsoft like to get into a 'who as a bigger penis contest', Nintendo is walking around with its $5 Footlong swinging in the air due to the DS and Wii. No need to compete when you are riding high on the money train.

"You should come. I think you would like it."
But I was surprised with some of the companies showing up.
Brawndo.
It has electrolytes.
It's got what plants crave.
Ah, that's what I was thinking of.
But heres to hoping they might be selling off site like you said proXimity. though.
no more walking around the whole expo with a sign over my head trying to find a match lol
edit: although it does make me sad they won't be giving away gobs of stuff
Bawls not being there is a tragedy.

And for Guek for comparison:

There's no reason that Microsoft won't be showing that off in their area. Seems very likely actually.
What is this "Skybridge" section listed on here? Anyone familiar with the convention center that can feed a little info about this?

There was food in the exhibition hall in the back near the Army booth last year.
I may have missed something. Why?
Probably because Microsoft tends to push and promote the big games on it's console more so than the actual publisher. That's my guess.
