The new forums will be named Coin Return (based on the most recent vote)! You can check on the status and timeline of the transition to the new forums here.
The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
The current plan is to attempt to start the Holiday Forums on December 23rd sometime during the day. During this time, the Future State Planning Center will remain open. The Holiday Forum merge will last (if Vanilla cooperates) until January 3rd.
This is a minor concern for you admins, i'm sure; but could I have my join date fixed by any chance? Back in March 11th (as shown by my current date) Alpha fixed a bug for me that could help me post again, but in the process I lost my original join date of March 1st 2004.
Is it possible that I could have this set back to that original date?
If you didn't really care, you wouldn't be making a thread about it. :P
nono. I mean I do not care if Kaz isn't asking to have his old join date back. I would not mind having it back. However, I just want to hear if the admins can help me on this.
I joined in 2009, but was thrust backwards in time when the Krezlorts invaded. I think I'm supposed to be helping us develop a super weapon or some kind of response team or something.
Why does your join date even matter? I can't think of anything signifigant about March 1st in any year, aside from it's the day after the end of February.
I was here when dinosaurs roamed the earth, and we all had to carry our packets by hand, through the snow, with no shoes, uphill both ways, just to establish a TCP/IP connection. You whippersnappers with your "modems"... you don't know how easy you have it!

See, you wouldn't know because you don't get to go into the cool secret forum for those that have joined before October 1st, 2004.

It has been my experience here that the mods don't care much about your join date or your post count or much of any of that. Hell I say take join dates off the public profile anyway. What is it supposed to represent?

It gives you the right to act like a condescending jerkoff towards newer members, of course.

That's because you were banned, and if you don't quit yapping your stupid fucking mouth about it you're going to be banned again.
