A PAX brochure/guide?

Forgive me if this is covered somewhere, or if you already do this because I've never been to one, I know this forum has a lot of solid information, but is there a physical, tangible guide/brochure available at the convention? Something with a schedule, a list of booths and the different things to do at and around PAX?

A book. That will be issued once you get in...if I remember rightly.

But beforehand...basically once they give the schedule, it will be in PDF format--I think.

Well if you can manage to wait for 1-3 weeks it will be announced. And when you get to PAX head to the front desk thingy.(which was on the 2nd floor last year??) and get a bag of PAX things...With a brochure and shit...And by shit i mean HAWTNESS!!!

Definate. But, now that I think about it, I remember reading everything in the brochure book thing while waiting in line.

You don't have to go to the front desk. They hand bags full of promo things, as well as the PAX guide book thing, to everyone in line. Last year they had whole boxes of excess bags left over, so don't worry about not getting one. :P

...If you are a lazy man like my friends...and they give the rides from Oly to Seattle and decide to be late and you aren't in line...You get them at the desk..which i didn't know til the last day so i got my PAX bag the last day...

_And by the way... we arrived like 10 minutes late and just walked right in... no waiting...LINES??

That's what we keep trying to tell people. The lines only form before the events. Once the events start, the line rushes inside, and anybody not yet in can just walk right on in. No waiting. Yet people still form lines.

Ok ok ok, I was TRYING to be nice. Yes, we broke it. I could never get connected either through game, or pictochat. Couldn't even get a solid number of people in ANY of the pictochat rooms :P

Ditto. Plus, lines are like Disneyland. Instead of singing random songs, you play with the DS--and destroy the Wi-Fi in the meantime!

i loved owning in star wars trivial pursuit last year while watching the guys in the next row build a bawls tower. i crave lines so much that, although i'm not even a huge halo guy, i was first in line in issaquah for halo 3. i have a problem.

ds wi-fi was ok if you were just trying to play with people right next to you. Other than that it was a crapshoot due to so many people playing.

Trying to make a single place to organize all the info strewn about the forums is why I created the wiki. I'm trying to keep it up to date, I'll probably do massive updating once the schedules and stuff are out.
