Some background info: Each diablo game takes place on a certain server. This is not the same as USEast or West. When people sell enough SoJ on a server, a Diablo clone appears and when killed, drops an Annilihus charm. Your goal is to find these servers and join them. Unfortunately there is no way to choose which server to join, so the process is trial and error, and you will need luck. Without further adieu:
How To Hunt For the Diablo Clone:
1. Get some kind of IRC client. I use Pidgin because that's what I use for all my IM needs. mIRC is free as well.
2. Join the server irc.dcloneirc.net
3. Join channel #uswest-dclone or #useast-dclone (you will have to register your nick to talk)
4a. Hang out in that channel until you see a red font black background message from the bot about X number of SOJ being sold on yy.yyy.yy.xxx.4000
4b. Sometimes a member of the channel will say that xxx server will walk.
5. Once you see that message, take note of the server number (xxx).
6. Join a hell game in D2.
7. Open up command prompt in windows and type "netstat -n"
8. You will see a list of ips. Under the column "Foreign Address" look for the ip that ends in 4000. Then look at the number right before 4000. That is what server you are on.
9. If your server matches the server the SoJ are being sold on, congrats; just wait there until you get a "Diablo walks the earth message." If your server number is not the same, create another hell game, and hope for the right number. Be careful not to do this too quickly, as you will get temp banned. The irc channel will also announce when the server has walked, so then you know you are too late and can stop trying.
The Diablo Clone spawns from superuniques. The first superunique you encounter will be Uber Diablo. Easiest place to kill him: go to the arcane sanctuary wp, backtrack thru the blue portal. He will be there all by himself. This guy is tougher than any of the normal bosses, but is not tougher than ubers. He is easier than the guys you kill for organs for uber tristram.
SHIFT + LEFT CLICK them to put potions back in your belt.
SHIFT + RIGHT CLICK to fill TP + ID Tomes and keys at merchants.
SHIFT + Potion Hot Key or SHIFT + Right Click Potion to give your merc a potion

Erm, my main will be a paladin once I find a Gimmershred.
And is there an easy way to get some elemental absorb, especially lightning? Also damage reduction and damage reduced by stuff...I need this because physical damage seems to rock me the most by far, even with max block.
(The lightning absorb is only for gloams which tear me up with only 80% lightning resist. Ridiculous)

And I must mention to you guys that hardcore is the only way to go, the more people we can get, the better. We can even organize plays on vent, it could be AWESOME!
I need some damage reduction right quick. I managed to solo hell, but holy shit were some battles epic. My ancients war, in particular, was long and grueling.
