Other events around PAX?

Hey everyone,

I'm going to try to make it out to PAX this year. To save on some travel costs, I'd like to throw in a business related conference at the same time. Does anyone know if there are any good Marketing, Online, Digital, Pharmacuitical Marketing, or generic Business Strategy type conferences going on right before, after, or during PAX? If there are, I can attend those and write some costs off, which may determine if I can make it out or not.

    I don't think bumbershoot is a conference about pharma marketing (I mean it's been a few years since I've attended so I guess it could have changed)

    I looked at the WSCTC schedule and there's nothing in that particular realm either the preceding or following week. I did find this at Meydenbauer across the lake the week after.

    Unfortunately, it doesn't look like any of the above or those locations have events at the right time that would truly apply to me. Does anyone have a list of places events could potentially be held within, say, an hour of PAX? Might be easier for me to find stuff by location.

    I've searched Google many times. It's amazing how hard it is to find stuff like this. In any event, I may be there on Saturday. Who thinks PAX is worth it when you can only attend 1 day? Better than nothing, right?

    There is a Virtual Rehabilitation conference in Vancouver, BC from August 25-27 (not sure if that quite applies)

    also, check out http://www.conferencealerts.com/index.htm and see if they have anything that might apply. check Washington, Oregon and BC to be safe.
