    I get 30 fps on a Nvidia Geforce Ti 4400 with 1gb memory at 640 by 480 resolution in windowed mode, with a config that sets everything to low and removes all the fanciness.

    I live the high life of TF2.

    I'd love some HonC after my WoW raid (which is after dinner, which is after work, so it is also 7ish hours away).

    I got a bad feeling about the raid, there's just a bit to much officer pressure to do the first 4 bosses fast so we get decent time on M'uru, so it'll be total chaos and people will fuck up in every way possible.

    I know this is slightly offtopic and I apologize. I have recently come into some money and am looking to build myself a new PeeCee. Unfortunately my usual haunts for upgrade related advice are a little behind. If you have any place that can suggest a good build (including a case and power supply) for around $1000, I would greatly appreciate it. As a note, I plan to purchase all parts through NewEgg and build the computer myself. Any advice you can provide would also be appreciated.     I have noticed that it is a bit more difficult to play on a computer with fewer FPS as spy, particularly in those stab n' sap situations, and when you're trying to train backstabs.

    As for you and all those other peoplez asking for config advice, I'd go to TweakGuides like Falcon pointed me. If you're already familiar with some of the more basic stuff, you can probably just skip to the advanced tweaking section. I tweaked my laptop up and got an extra 10 fps on average out of it. I blame the rest of its poor performance on Vista.

    Here's a list of the tweaks I put in my autoexec.cfg for performance.

    Edit: My descriptions are super lame and were more notes to myself, for better descriptions, go to that tweak guides site.

    I've been considering recording the pub runs to make an entry for the "TF2: Deer in the Headlights" video we discussed several threads back. (PAers record brutal ownage on TF2 pubs, post compliation video.) Would also like to know how to craft high QL movies.

    I want to try something on the servers. I want to see if a pyros taunt can kill an uber target or if 5 pyros taunt an uber target at the same time will he go down?

    Hmm. Depends if the Pyro hadoken taunt is set at "very high damage value" or if it's "Instant Kill." If it's the latter, I bet it will, because trains kill ubered players too.

    i thought they held up the train with an ubered spy until someone fucked up and broke the uberchain
