Hmmm, the crashes were definitely there for me but they don't seem to happen as often as I've noticed others experiencing. I didn't get a single crash in the last 2 or so hours of gameplay.
Finally being The Guy is such a great feeling. I couldn't imagine what its like on the hardest difficulty.. Then again I doubt anyone has ever beaten it on that level...
On the IWBTG forums, there is a fan who made a level editor for the game. It received the equivalent of a solemn nod from Kayin which is quite the praise coming from him.
It's too late tonight for me to try it out, but that might just breathe new life into this thread.

i would say that i was quivering in fear of the terrors that user created levels will bring, but really they couldnt be much more horrifically painful than the actual game

Well, I finally started playing this damn thing on hard. I'm up to the point in the Ghouls 'n' Ghosts area where the ground slants over...I can't seem to fake it out so if I can't get it in a few more tries I'll probably look over your vids again.
The only thing annoying me so far is that I swear my double jump just plain doesn't work many times. Cripes!
How could you have any IWBTG avatar if you don't use a cherry in it.
Not to mention he is standing on spikes and not exploding.
Theres no spike there, it's the only spikeless spot, theres one that flies down there as hes jumping but it clears before he lands (I wanted to make it looked all scrolly but I failed.) I didn't want it too look to easy either.

I probably COULD have done it in Paint, but honestly, scaling it down from 128x128 to the required 64x64 would have just been hard to do.
