it's cool. He went out for a mate's birthday which then moved on to someone's house. He's stopped inviting me 'cos he knows I won't enjoy myself (people I don't know drinking while I sit there sober and increasingly in pain as it gets later in the night and the pain killers stop working).

Me and japan are fairly cool about stuff like that. He quite often comes with me to things but he knows my mates and gets along with them. I'm actually quite happy when he goes out 'cos he can be such an anti-social bugger at times.
