    They don't have to but many times they have jobs that require them to be on base most of the time. I've known many people with this living situation.

    man i watched the season finale of Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List last night and it was her at the Walter Reed army hospital and it was pretty depressing

    one guy lost his leg within the first month of his first deployment
